WSOP Mixed Games Trip Report 6/9-6/14!

Sorry for the lack of updates, haven’t been feeling great this trip. I always have trouble sleeping when I’m out here and it seems like it’s affecting me more this trip. I played the $600 HORSE @ The Orleans today but busted a couple levels before the dinner break. Never got anything going and was under starting stack practically the whole day. Played some craps before and after. Lots my ass @ The Orleans and won some of it back @ NYNY. Overall for the trip so far I’m down around $800 or so with everything factored in. So certainly not a huge deficit to overcome. Gonna play the $1K @ the WSOP tomorrow at noon. That’s the last tournament on my schedule!
Woke up with a terrible headache at 5 am but took some Advil and was able to get back to sleep for a few hours. Currently on break in the $1K PLO @ WSOP. Up and down first few levels and I was around starting stack of 20K when this crazy hand happened. Playing 7 handed UTG opens to 1100, I call with AdKhKs9d hoping the guy on my left will 3-bet. He’s been super active trying to run up a stack or rebuy. He obliges and makes it 3K, SB who just sat down calls and original raiser calls. I pot it to 15K hoping to isolate but EVERYONE behind me goes all in. I call of course and nobody has Aces but I’m gonna have to improve more than likely. Well the flop is as an above average K22!! Sitting on just under 75K…
Up to 128K now. Younger kid opens to 1200 @ 400 BB, big stack calls I make it 4500 from the BB with AdKdKh8s they both call. Flop is Jd9d4s I bet 12K intending to get it in. First guy folds big stack check raises and we get it in. He has a set of 9s and I river the flush! Just won another nice one, UTG opens I call with As9x9x4s and BB calls. Flop Jc9c2d checks to me I bet 3500 and only the BB calls. Turn is 2s and I check behind. River Kh BB bets 9K, I call and he has 10-10 w/ missed clubs. 1250 entries already with 4 hours of registration left…
Busted just before dinner break. Lost 2 tough ones with second nut flush and 7s full vs quads. Pretty disappointing way to end the trip. On to the next one…
Unlucky. So many trip reports right now…hard to keep track. How’s the overall P&L looking right now?
