Tom Dwan - the missing man
How convenient is it that he just falls off the face of the earth after issuing and bailing half way through a 50k hand
You have good logic but I think it could go deeper, such as :
1. what if agency decided that Tom marathon poker sessions was good cover for testing long-lasting advanced CNS stimulants ?
2. what if Tom volunteered/requested spy agency to supply him with CNS stimulants to enable marathon sessions ?
3. what if Tom procured such drugs from agency employees and/or affiliates via non-official channels ?
People are saying that Tom Dwan was contacted by government agencies because of his contact with Chinese Triads. This is completely the wrong way around. Tom Dwan was a government experiment where he received MK Ultraesque treatment as a small child, implanting his brain with elite level poker knowledge. As the poker boom took off, the project was switched on and Durrr was released on the Full Tilt tables. Their long term plan was never to have their new weapon stuck playing online, so the CIA had the feds pull the plug on online poker to force Dwan into the biggest games live instead. As we all know those games where in Macau. Who plays poker in Macau? Thats right, Chinese Triads. Using Dwan, the CIA have had unrestricted access to high ranking Chinese Triad members for over a decade and a half. All theyve had to to is harvest his brain regularly to get the info he has gleaned out of him. I think what weve seen lately is the unfortunate long term effects of being a CIA mind control project. It would break the best of us.
True
I was there
Tom always had that "programmed" look to him.
So once he'd gone rogue, the flight to London drugging was an attempt to bring him back into the fold, but instead triggered an acute psychotic episode that led to MHA intervention and it took US consulate one month working with UK to release back stateside.
Abril is attempt #2 to return to Tom to a "proper medications dosing regimen" and debrief to learn latest Triad secrets.

it used to be crazies would be rambling on the street and everyone would just politely ignore them and carry on.
Now, they post on social media instead and suddenly people are like "wait a sec, let's hear them out they might be on to something!"

Q: What is stimulant-induced psychosis?
A: Psychosis is a term used to describe conditions that impact the mind and cause a person to lose contact with reality. While psychosis can develop due to mental illness, some people experience stimulant-induced psychosis from overusing illicit or prescribed stimulants.
Psychotic symptoms can result in disturbed thoughts and perceptions and trouble understanding what is real and what is not. Stimulant-induced psychosis occurs when a person experiences delusions or hallucinations soon after ingesting or withdrawing from a substance. It can also occur shortly after exposure to a medication.
Common illicit drugs associated with stimulant-induced psychosis include amphetamines, methamphetamines, and cocaine. Misusing prescription medications like Adderall, Ritalin, and Vyvanse is also related to the development of psychosis. During a psychosis episode, a person may see, hear or believe things that arenβt real. They might also have strange and persistent thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.
Tom was bookmaking for the triads. The government def paid him a visit.
some of the **** i've read on here is fkn insane! not surprising I guess, lots of insane ppl on here tbh. most logical conclusion imo is him faking it to somehow get himself out of the 100M hole he's in. jmo said the exact thing on twitter a week or two ago.
What to make of these new reports that passengers are saying that relatively early in the flight Tom began screaming about how they were trying to drug him and kill him and he had to get out of there and later proceeded to attempt to break-out of the airplane. He was considered to be such a danger to himself and others that they kept his wrists & ankles zip tied the rest of th
Iβm trying to find more info about this part of the story. Where were you able to find those reports or articles?
is Tom currently employed by the CIA?
He always seemed like an industry plant to me... was he winning some insane bb/100 over a huge sample online back in the day to warrant this savant crusher image or was it just the huge 52o HSP TV punts that make him such a poker star?
I got into poker around 2016 so genuinely have no clue I just know him from the old HSP episodes and read about him scamming jungleman in some challenge.

Dwan was the first pure online cash game player who rose through the stakes all the way to the upper nosebleeds and managed to establish himself as a winning player even against the already top established pros like Ivey and Antonius.
Glad you diverted the discussion from the spy and other underground organizations.
Tom has probably learnt something, and even continues to crush at times.
Does Tommy play WSOP? π
Conversation between Dan and Tom.
(Have not watched it)
Awkward, but not as awkward as expected. Not sure if the conversation was necessary at this point but hopefully they got something out of it
Jungle talks about the Challenge, and Tom continually just says basically "Ya, but there's a lot worse things happening in home games and club games... But, ya, like, no"
Jungle talks about his feelings about the Challenge, etc. Tom responds by saying the poker world focuses too much on the micro and not he macro, there's worse going on.
I assume this was recorded pre-plane

This part of the video is about the durrrr challenge and it seems obvious what ever happened both players are ok with whatever got settled between it. ill be honest it would and should have better if they just announced a final verdict on it and its still sus how as far as i know they still haven't just said its over.

Tom had closed body language compared to Jungle. Dwan had his arms crossed and his body was facing towards the camera closed off to Jungle. Jungle had open body language and appeared to be honest when giving his side of what was going on. Dwan didn't really apologize at all compared to Jungle.
This was just Jungle using way too many words to say the same thing over and over (taking some responsibility) while Tom dodged any responsibility. The most Tom was willing to admit was saying things like "theres no saints in this story" and "we all made mistakes" which is really the opposite of taking responsibility. Everyone already thinks Tom is most at fault, so saying "we all have responsibility for how it turned out" isnt admitting anything, its shifting the focus away from himself yet again.
Djeezes Christ
Dwan comes across ter-ri-ble in that video
A disaster
Not saying he does not deserve sympathy
But to be kept at a distance for sure
Jungle clearly is trustworthy
agree with most of the above
for any people who were not familiar with the whole challenge, this comes across as Jungle apologizing to Tom and Tom sort of accepting it but not fully
Jungleman seems like a really nice placid fella and just doesnt want anymore said on the matter,
as mentioned above it seems like this was shot before Toms plane episode, but at the start of the video the camera people say to Tom, can you confirm you wasnt forced to do this interview π
