Kamala was trying to appeal to what voters want, which is a secure border. She wasn’t advocating for the end of birthright citizenship and deporting all refugees and permanent residents. The moral difference between them was quite clear.

The military can act in aid of the civil power if the police aren't coping or aren't doing their job properly. Don't know if this situation warrants it. The governor seems to think not.
