What we do know is any comparison there was between bringing up Trump's cognitive decline and Biden's was almost laughable when we look at both of their performances as president. I just cannot believe again that something wasn't done about replacing him in 2023 and particularly in this day and age with all the media on him and capturing those moments where Jill couldn't hide him and he looked lost and confused and just plain frail.

Do you honestly believe trump has any deep understanding of most of the stuff his admin is doing? He's pretty much the dictionary definition of a frontman lol He can't really go beyond the basic summary sentence someone handed to him on any issue. Do you think he could pass a proper civics test all by himself alone at a table?

trump has plenty of senior moments too the media just doesn't pounce on them ruthlessly. They may get noted in passing but then they quickly move on. He obv has plenty of persistent health issues.

I don't know if Trump is worse than the median 79y old health wise, maybe not because the american median is pretty low compared to normal first world countries health-wise, but surely he is not in top shape yes.
That begs the question about "ageism" and if it actually would make sense to require elected politicians to be far better than median across all important variables including health. On paper that makes sense but the implementation of an attempt to filter for that legally seems very dangerous

Tbh there hasn't been much change in Trump in 10 years since he first campaigned - sure he might not be as switched on as he was then say in the Republican primaries and debates against Hillary but he is still infinitely better than what Biden was in that last term and how he started his term.
And I mean just thinking of his actions and there were a lot of head scratchers but perhaps now you have to wonder if it was him or someone else making the calls but the unfreezing of the 6 billion to Iran for the release of hostages. What the hell was that about?

I think we can all agree that there are a bunch of elected officials on both sides that should be gone. Dianne Feinstein was the absolute worst . Add in Mitch and Joe Biden . Though you get a guy like Grassly that seems great for his age though you may not agree with his politics
If we can have age limits for airline pilots I don't see why we can't have them for high offices.
