Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

Goff, Herbert

Hampton, Monty, Warren, Braelon, Dobbins, Woody, Keaton, Herbert

JJ, MHJ, Jamo, Addison, Coleman, Kirk, QJ, Malik

McBride, Muth

It's solid and can work. But I think I like a 3-7-8-2 build when it's Goff/Herbert as your 2 QBs.

Just fired two more SF

Murray, Ward, Cousins, Mac

Bijan, JT, Mason, Tuten, Benson, Wright, James

London, Tet, Ridley Flowers, Aiyuk, Wilson

Njoku, Strange, T. Ferguson

Cousins with outs to my Atl stack + being a starter elsewhere seems good at his price.

Trevor, Stroud, Geno, Malik

Gibbs, CMC, Mixon, Dowdle, Shipley, Kendre

Zay, Ridley, Reed, Golden, Higgins, Bech, Dyami

Warren, Strange, Chig

I tried the 3 early QBs and don't like it as much compared to only 2, but I think I caught up with enough upside at WR and have strong upside everywhere. I'm not sure if adding a QB in the 20th is good or bad after spending so much on the first 3. But I look at all of the available players in that range and they simply don't have the upside of a backup QB.

I do think the 3 early QBs are fine when it's 3 in rounds 3-6, but when you do 3 early QBs after taking one, and especially two, in the first two rounds, I think you're making a big mistake.

Like this one.

There are quite a few examples in that last screenshot I posted of the QB run.

When the QB run eats you alive lol.

I like the JT pick a lot -- he's the end of a good RB tier (and Jacobs is in the next tier).

Problem is Herbert & Love are the end of a good QB tier.

Tough call for 4.03.

Disclaimer: just fired up my first BB drafts of 2025, but 99% staying away from superflex this year.

but 99% staying away from superflex this year.

Kinda like this one

Daniels, Stafford, Dimes, Milton

Chuba, Kaleb, Tracy, Ekeler, Giddens, Hunter, Sanders

ARSB, Btjr, Tee, Pickens, Deebo, ADM

Loveland, Goedert, Ertz

Dynasty update through 10rds 10x10 sf ppr 1.5 tep

Hurts, Kyler

Jeanty, Harvey, Mixon

Btjr, London, Tet, Olave, Waddle, Burden, Adams

Done with wr for a while

Have no picks the next 2rds and then going to try to get Njoku/Goedert/Kelce + some rookie upside

Grab a qb3 and some RBs w upside

Not sure if it was a mistake to sit out te, but felt gross once I missed the t2

Going to try something a little different the next few times I get an elite QB and only draft naked QBs on that team. The plan is to still stack other teams and W17 correlation.

Jayden, AR, Dimes

Pacheco, Tracy, Najee, Blue, Wright, Hill

ARSB, Nabers, Worthy, Waddle, Godwin, Kirk, TeSlaa, Felton

Jonnu, Pitts, Gray

RIP Saquon

haha I was just about to come in here and post I might end up with 75% Shipley

I still want like 3% Dillon just as a small hedge.

Haha, I was already thinking about how I want to be closer to 4-6% Saquon than 8% with the extra percentages going to JJ, CD, Bijan, and Gibbs.

Dillon as a small hedge is probably reasonable, but I am having trouble clicking him. Griddy being into Dillon is extra confirmation that I don't really want him lol.

Shipley is a great pick. Especially since they actively chose to let Gainwell walk for cheap, when Sirianni really loved Gainwell. My goal on Shipley is at least double the field.

Haha I want a non 0% on Dillon but probably like 2%. I’ll take all the Shipley I’m able to draft for now as I’m sure later in the season there’ll be new ppl worth drafting

I'm close to 30% Shipley, so I'm really only drafting him now if I can get multiple unique combos.

Actually thought I had more Dillon the way I've mentioned him in the past, but I only have 1 team from pre-draft.

Your subconscious is saving you.

RIP Saquon

Barkley is the easiest fade ever at pick one or two. I suppose those of you doing BBM will have to get some of him there. In time box contests I'm not touching him unless he falls to the middle of the first.

RJ Harvey is a weird eval for best ball drafts. I think he has the talent to be a second or third round pick next year. The great coaching and offensive line could make him look better than he really is. I can also see him being a bust. I'm very concerned about his lack of pass protection skills. He does not seem to be a willing blocker. If Nix takes a bad hit because of this we may not see Harvey for a few games. Harvey also fumbled 3 times a year which is another way to get benched. Watch out for Tyler Badie. He was coming on last year before getting injured. I can see him working his way up the depth chart.

Nice promo. Basically 1.5 free teams. I wasn’t planning to fire any, but I might have to do 7.

Sure, why not lol

First Saquon/AJB team. Might as well go with the more unique Allen stack over Hurts.

Allen, Fields

Saquon, Swift, Pacheco, Dowdle, McLaughlin, Sanders, Moster

AJB, Hunter, Sutton, Odunze, Coleman, Hollywood, QJ, Malik

Engram, Strange, Shultz

Looks good.

Speaking of Saquon.

How about running backs with 482 touches?

Half of them he wasn’t touched because he was running away from the defense.

Honestly, that’s my biggest concern. Even if he stays healthy, if the explosive runs decrease, it’s going to turn into the problem people were worried about last year. Relatively low target volume and Hurts goal line vulture without the 50 yard TD runs.

My biggest concern is that the Eagles dominate this year and limit his touches the last two or three games. 482 touches for a somewhat aging RB is concerning. It's also very difficult to recreate these massive seasons. Henry has been able to do it. Saquon can certainly do it. History tells us that regression will set in. Injuries, touches, TD's etc. It's pretty stunning that we all somehow thought he was a second round pick last year. He's obviously a mega super star who now plays for a great team with a great line. I'm gonna trust my gut in time box tournaments and avoid him at one or two. I'll take him at 5 if he falls. I hope to have at least 6% instead of the stupid 3% I had last year.

The Eagles also had a very easy schedule last year. This year looks much tougher. Maybe they won't have the luxury to rest Barkley but it also may not be as easy going either.

I want to go all in on Mahomes again. You just know there is a "Hey remember me" season coming. Kelce is back with the guy who trained him for the combine. Rice sounds like he is healthy. Pacheco should be better. Second year of Worthy. A healthy Hollywood. The bummer part is that the Chiefs play the Broncos week seventeen. Denver's D could be ridiculous. This looks like a 17 to 16 type of game. I suppose pairing Mahomes with another QB who could go off could get you there. Mahomes will at least help you to advance.

Omarion Hampton might be very frustrating to own. I can see Najee playing just good enough to significantly cut into Hamptons playing time. Najee doesn't miss games and he doesn't fumble. A change of scenery might revitalize his game. He's only on a one year 7 million dollar contract. Greg Romans track record with rookie RB's isn't great although Hampton is a pretty high pick. Roman likes to use a committee. I do like Hamptons talent though. I'll be getting a decent bit of Najee.
