I refuse to believe that people like Matusow and Lindgren are value in the fantasy draft compared to whoever random unknown grinder you can get for the same price.

Matusow is already on the board with a point for a cash. But yea, I got Rampage for $1 in a small pool I am in, they are down to 25 in the 5k and he is still in it.

Anyone who planning on playing all of the mixed games probably has more value than an unknown grinder playing a bunch of nlhes

I don’t think Daniel really gives a **** about maxing EV in his fantasy draft. Picking Lindgren has more to do with loyalty to a friend, and picking Matusow is +EV because he has a reason to film and f*ck with him often, which makes good content for his blogs.

ok, but, who though? DN knows Lindgren personally and knows what he's going to play. That is significant information. How do you get information on a random unknown and what events they are going to play

I kinda doubt there are any “random unknown dude” playing the majority of 10k mixed game events. With as many teams as they have in the draft, probably every player playing most of those events got drafted.

I wouldn't call myself a "hate watcher" per se, but I do somehow enjoy some of the cringey stuff. In one of the recent episodes, he spoke about how good he is at PLO, and I immediately thought of this thread. Then again, it looks like two of his tourney wins have been at the PGT PLO Series, so that game is certainly on his brain.

Also, all these years later, it still cracks me up when fans interrupt him when he's recording. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised – it's 2025, and we still see people who somehow get jazzed up when they're in the corner of some live shot on TV.

This is a thread that only serves as to mock Daniel and trash talk him. I remember last year in this thread Rmbxr9 was talking about how Daniel misplayed a PLO hand. Daniel justified the play but I believe that Rmbxr9 was correct in that it was a spew by Daniel.

I don't recall anything mentioned before regarding it, so assuming it was an in-the-moment joke.

Nobody mention the edit job in I think it was vlog #2 when he was playing chess and made a lol really dumb mistake leaving his bishop and knight exposed to the same pawn. I love how he said dont worry I'll show me come back then the footage was immediately edited to something different and of course we dont see the outcome of the chess match. It's all smoke and mirrors with this guy.

And to finish the story, Daniel continued winning a bunch of money in PLO

Daniel is pretty clearly staking Matusow this summer, right? After openly referring to him as an idiot for years, he just randomly talks about how he's targeting him as a cheap add in the 25k vlog and then drafts him for $3 and has featured him a couple of random times.

Dnegs irks me in a lot of different ways. But his open attitude of disgust towards fans and autograph and picture-seekers really ignites the burn these days. His video from a couple of days ago where he plainly tells the guy he's being disruptive, to his face, and basically tries to "shew" him away like a child beggar, and then does the roll-the-eyes and quick breathe routine. It's insane how arrogant and petulant Dnegs can be at the same time. Not only does he open disdain people from trying to get his autograph or picture, he doesn't even care to tell his editor to snip these episodes out of the vlog. He's so far down the rich entitled prick road, he just doesn't care anymore.

For as much as people cheer for him being a 'good guy' and all, he sure shows how much you can hate a famous person for being just another uppity, uncaring, wealthy douche bag.
