4 bet with AK
2/5 effective 850
Main villain 1150
Main villain is splashy seen showdowns with Q4 suited top pair on the river three barrels got there likes to play larger pots. Doesn't really play range advantage from position is typically playing out of position and 3bets often. Hasn't been caught with his pants down even bluffing tends to catch something on the river.
Hero on the button AK off, UTG straddle on for 15$ (table has not been all straddling really only two guys)
folds to MP main Villain makes it 35$ folds to Hero bumps it to 105$ folds to MP min clicks to 210$ Hero calls
Board comes 10,10, K rainbow
MP no hesitation and leads out with 120$, Hero makes it 350$
MP thinks a bit and just calls
Pot 1139$
turn 9 don't remember the suit but now there's no flush possibilities.
MP checks, Hero? (do I just rip it here with 290$ behind its not like I can fold but I've got to believe I'm super good here)

How many pocket pairs are in his range, and is he folding them to a turn bet? If there are a lot and he is folding, then I could see checking the turn and trying to collect value on the river. But if he is calling a turn bet with most of his range, then yeah just get it in on the turn.
If he 3bets often, just gii pre-flop. Just shove the turn now. Don't give him the chance to fold on the river.
Spoiler
So I did get it all in on the turn he tank called.. shows pocket hooks hits a queen on the river of course nothing I could do.
I believe that your line is good. No need to overcomplicate things. It is just standard and the correct play in my oppinion.
Grunch:
PRE - on the BTN with AK and seeing MP open for a small size given the straddle, I think we can go a little bigger with our raise size. Tempted to just rip it in with AK when he clicks it back. His line looks FOS.
FLOP - In theory, I don't think we have any raises here. This hand is pretty far off the rails.
If you want to raise here, I think we can just jam, when we won't have even a 1/2 pot size bet left going to the turn if we so much as min-click it.
I suppose we could have some bluffs, like AQ, or maybe QQ or QJ, when the 4B was so small.
I also think we could just flat the small c-bet and see what he does on the turn.
TURN - this is the problem when we flat his small 4B pre and raise flop. We're priced in. So is he. No one can fold. So, sure, might as well jam.
But I'm not sure we are good here, or that we're not chopping. What worse hands call our flop raise with so little left behind?
