President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
He will say that he doesn't support Trump while unilaterally posting in support of other right wing posters and right wing policies
In Modern American Christianity the hypocrisy is foundational though so it shouldn't be surprising
I realize nuance isn't a thing in politics forums, but some things about Trump I like and some things I don't.
I've voted for him three times, and will likely vote for him a fourth time given the opportunity.

You expect someone to give you the benefit of doubt on "nuance" when you're literally saying you'd vote for him if he's on the ballot a fourth time which means gg democracy in the US?
This is an excellent question. mongidig, what would have advised Chauvin to do if he wanted to be a police officer, but he didn't want to end up on the wrong side of the bars?
And who in your opinion committed the more serious crime(s) in this encounter, George Floyd or Chauvin?

I am so happy to read this.
It shows religion is just a metric and not a guideline for you.
It put religion to a cigarette level.
Very very happy to see you put Trump over religion.
Best day ever!

It only means 'gg democracy' if he runs for a third term sans a Constitutional amendment.
That said, thank you for augmenting my point that nuance isn't a thing in politics forums.
Here is a better way of putting it. It's like the maniac who could have stayed home but decided to go play poker and reek havoc over the table. He shows up and raises and re raises every hand. It could work out for him. It could have worked out for Floyd. He could have gotten away with his crime and got his smokes and had a nice day. The maniac may leave up 6 racks. The reality is that this is usually not gonna work out so well for either of these fellas.

No you ****ing idiot. The maniac risks losing his money. Floyd risked going to jail. Getting killed by the cops is not a risk that should be in play in either of these scenarios.

There is nothing nuanced about chiseling away the constitution to extend a presidency that he claims was "mandated by god"
Maybe you've heard the phrase "beware of false prophets" but maybe you actually believe his self proclamation which would be blasphemous
I'm using the new version of the forum and bolded doesn't appear clearly.
I've never thought about that one way or another. I must confess I'm seldom in the company of folks who are drunk, so I wouldn't know about that.
Since you are probably around drunks more often than me, I will take your word for it.

Yes, that's the stereotype, hence the use of the phrase "swearing like a drunken sailor". The implication is that both sailors and drunk people swear more than the norm. Glad I could clear that up for you.

Somehow the analogies just get worse and worse
