NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
These weird super team trades have just epically failed.
What the Helly
The Knicks have the Pacers right where they want them.
Okay then do you trade AD while he still has good value and build around Cooper?
Cooper won’t hit his prime for 3-4 years. AD will be old and very broken by then.
Mans need to trade AD asap. It doesn’t make sense even in a 3 year plan to depend on that guy. You pick Cooper and look offload AD when a decent opportunity comes in the next year
Knicks are done.
Pacers in 5.
Haliburton 20/9/10 at half
If Thibs can find the courage to sit Brunson, Knicks are going to run away with this. Pacers starters are too much for the Knicks starters, but Knicks bench can actually defend and move the ball like crazy
they should play mcbride more and bridges less, put him on hali and see if he can get over screens better
Was that Triple H? Haha
Btw, that reversal and calling an offensive foul on Turner is a joke of a call. Especially to reverse it
haha yes it was they showed him earlier with his name as a featured celebrity in attendance.

well then next foul a 50-50 resulted in Hart fouling out.

Marbury ain’t walkin thru that door
Yea, I don't think even Giannis gets them there. Hes still a beast and a top 5 player but I just think that trade would be terrible.
If you're Nico, you can breathe because you got bailed out by the proverbial 1 outter. Don't **** it up and just take the kid from Duke. Bottom line is this: he buys you at least 3 more years to develop around him and try and improve to a steady playoff team. If you trade him for Giannis, your "window" is next year and OKC and the Timberwolves are good and only going to get better. Make the "safer" play.
Knicks just never recovered from losing game 1, they gotta grind too hard for everything....Even the pistons series their last 3 wins were by 6pts combined
pretty rough series for brunson, they just can't get stops with him and towns out there together
Haliburton 32-15-12 0 turnovers my god

Pacers got a couple fortunate calls. I guess I mean that was just a weird way to interpret that situation upon review especially.
I missed the 1st half but it seemed he was on Haliburtons side at the end. I saw that dirtbag Ben Stiller on the baseline too.
Supposedly the owner will be making the decision whether to trade the #1 pick or not... and talk is that he won't be.

Pacers going ALL THE WAY!
Not sure how this ends, but Knicks spending 5 FRP for Bridges one year before Giannis becomes available is a beat for sure

Don't want to jinx it, but this is the best I've seen anyone play Brunson the last couple of years. He almost always is able to go ham the last 4-5 min of a few games in a series. He was incredible against the Celtics. But so far*** he goes kind of MIA in the 4th. I don't really remember him scoring down the stretch, maybe 2?
Pacers are just good at disrupting everything, on both sides of the ball. Everything seems chaotic
