Man, sorry my facial recognition is so incredibly bad. I could have sworn you were in my game and it coincided with the day you met BigWhale

That's great! Congrats!

Wow, congratulations!

Great write-up. Described the action, but it wasn't just "this happened, then that happened." Kept the tension high. Great storytelling!

Thank you very much for taking us on this adventure.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Beating Adam for the hardware sounds good to me!

Hold yer horses. Final tables is only 1 so far.
TORSE plays 6 handed with final table of 7 so 9th doesn’t count.

Boom! Sick. I checked on PokerAtlas before I went to bed and saw you were in the final 4. Glad you closed it out. Great way to end the mini trip.

Wondering if you will get picked by somebody in tonight's $25k fantasy draft. Could be a sleeper pick!

Congratulations man. Here I am, the sucker who staked 25% of all events but first bullets only... Pro tip- don't stake like me and you'll be ok.

Go get a bracelet or 5 next month!

Spectacular result! Congratulations!

Man, that's got to make a long flight home a lot more pleasant! Congrats, great job.

Congratulations! So fun to tag along -- thanks for sharing.

Nice win! Is there any % still left on the WSOP package?

I highly doubt it, although I did tweet my schedule tagging $25kfantasydraft, but you never know, if there are more teams this year they’ll need to draft more players.

I want to be included in the ODB bonus players though so I can draft myself in that league [emoji3]

Yes I can still take 5% more but it won’t include the $3k TORSE.

I’ve been selling both on here as a package and on pokerstake as individual events and my WSOP TORSE sold out on there.

So if anyone still wants a piece of the WSOP package it’s now valued at $40,000 plus markup but now DOES NOT include the WSOP bracelet $3k TORSE.

So 1% =$440

Wynn Summer Classic
The Day After - Tuesday May 27th

I was going to wait until I was back in Medellin to do this, but as I’ve got a 3-hour layover in Houston it gives me something to do.

It’s funny, and maybe there’s a lesson in here somewhere about not getting over-confident, but in the TORSE I thought I had a really good chance to win it going into day two. In the Big O, at no point did I think I had a chance to win it until I won the big pot heads up against Adam to have a 3.5 million to 200k chip lead.

I just kept fighting. Never give up. In these things the cards, luck, poker gods, variance, bad beats, call it what you may, will find a way to bust you 99% of the time. It’s like in those final destination movies. You can’t cheat death. Well you can’t cheat busting in tournaments either. All you can do is make sure you aren’t doing anything to help it and are doing everything in your power to prevent it as long as possible. Keep fighting until your last chip and very occasionally you’ll get the Hollywood ending.

Excalibur, I apologize for calling you the dirty castle. [emoji23] You were perfectly hospitable and I was pleasantly surprised.

The noisy AC was a non-issue for me as I just turned it off at night. Having no fridge in the room was a slight negative though. Also the music at the pool wasn’t my cup of tea and was too loud so as I could still hear it even with my own earphones in and there wasn’t really anywhere you could go to escape it as they had speakers on every tree. But they’re minor faults. I would stay there again.

The walk from Excalibur to Wynn would be too extreme for most people but I didn’t mind it. The walk from Excalibur to Paris / Horseshoe should be more manageable for most people I think.

Accounting wise how did we do:

Tournament played: 6
Cashes: 2
Final Tables: 1
Wins: 1 [emoji44]
Total Buy-ins: $8,900
Total Prize Money: $35,821
Net Profit: $26,921

I’m happy to say that some members of this forum had a small piece of the action via the Wynn Warmup Package that I sold.

In the end I was almost bang on budget coming in just $100 under what I had allocated for total buy-ins.
So the final cost of each 1% share at markup of 1.10 was $98 and will return $358 (plus the $1 in unused buy-ins [emoji3])

I’ll be contacting those people shorty to arrange payment.

But this trip was only the appetizer. Yes it’s great that we’re $25k+ to the good but we still have the more expensive main course to tackle with $45k of projected buy-ins. And of course the potential for greater returns!

So a little family time and R+R now when I get back to Medellin. I don’t expect I’ll play any poker while I’m home so as to be fresh and raring to go when I get back to Vegas.

See you all again in 12 days.

Fantastic trip, thanks for sharing!

Even greater things could be in store for the summer! Can’t wait to read about it.

A Clint fan. A man after my own heart. Looking forward to reading about you throwing down The Gauntlet and being The Enforcer, rather than The Mule. [emoji3] GL

Okay, I'll have a crack at it as well.

How do you know the WSOP starts tomorrow? A distinctly pro-heavy field greets us at the Wynn for today’s Big O tournament.I find it funny that No Limit Hold’em has evolved to a standard 2x opening bet size and 1/4, 1/3 or 1/2 pot continuations but the only word in most PLO or in this case Big O players vocabulary is POT!It forces us to gamble with them more than we&

I know what you're thinking, players. "Did he fire two bullets or only one?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But since I am Tony Soprano 9, the most powerful lolmaha player in [strike]Jersey[/strike] Medellin and would blow your edge clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punks?

My WSOP Package is now sold out.

There are still some small pieces left for individual events via pokerstake but the full package through me on here is now closed.

Anyone else doing ODB Fantasy?

Need some help please. Opinions on the best bonus player to pick?
