10NL - Q high in 3bet pot - Rate my play!

I have QToff - I don't remember the suits. Well, Q of spades, T off.

Aggressive dude raises on CO to 3x, I 3bet to 12x.
100bb effective.

Flop comes:
543 - two spades.
I check.
Villain bets around 40%.
I call.

Turn comes:
Q - no spade.
I check.
Villain bets around 60%.
I call.

River comes:
4 - no spade.
I check, villain shoves, I snapcall.

What do you think of my flop line?

QTo is overplayed as a 3bet in these position

Flop is awful. This is the word hand in your range. This board is good for IP. You don't even have the benefit of representing a good hand when you call as you can still have bunch of A highs.

Okay, thanks.

Yeah agree with Morty here on all counts. Try to simplify your strategy until you can nail the basics of gto. Tight is right is still the way to go.

IMO 3bet as a bluff from the SB ok. Cbet smallish with superior range on the flop.

I think I'd fold pre. Then I think c betting small or x/folding are both better on flop

The 3bet can be okay if you know what you're doing postflop. But of course if you are check calling on a 543 flop then the preflop 3bet will quickly become -EV 😀

Fold preflop

Rake is too high and fold equity too low to make it +EV

You shouldn’t have gotten involved with Q-10o pre. Pulling a 3bet bluff if you have a read on villain then it’s fine. But other that, fold pre.

Preflop fine from BB but from SB very very wide. Generally we would want to be tighter vs aggro guy.

Flop fold standard, we're meant to fold like 30% range here but if youre 3-betting this wide then maybe this is pretty close as the offsuit junky stuff is just so many combos. Given that I don't think continuing with a spade is that bad but I think a xr will definitely play better than check call. We should be checking OPs at some frequency on this board and this is actually a pretty nutted xr combo.

Turn obviously have to call. River probably close. The T potentially blocks a lot of bluffs depending on suit but there are worlds where we beat value and given that we still have like AK and some other FDs/ UPs in range calling this isn't terrible. Vs aggro guy probably just always calling but vs normal player would only pure call if Ts matches the flop
