Play Style of someone with 30% VPIP, and 15% PFR?

What is the play style of someone with 30% VPIP, and 15% PFR? Are they too loose or tight? Raising too many hands or no?

They are a fish

Most likely loose passive.

But his strategy might differ on postflop.

So you need to see how he plays from looking at showdowns.

The main conclusion is that he calls too much preflop and doesn't raise enough (this can high likely affect not only RFI but also 3b and 4b).

As a default you can probably assume that the same thing happens post - he will always raise pretty strong, he will call you very wide (which doesn't necesarilly mean he overcalls all lines very and often just call to wide on previous streets to fold a lot OTR). But you still need to pay attention because that's not the case always. It's not rare to see aggro pre and passive post or other way around

Not so great yeah.

Players like this are usually semi recreational. Not a huge fish but not great. The stats are very "live player" ones. Selective enough with hands but too much limping. This profile is usually very straightforward postflop - Not a great deal of bluffs and usually overfold on scary boards. Their 15% PFR is likely very broadway heavy, so you can attack high card flops and high card run outs when they limp.

Easy fish!

But although he's - clearly heavily leaky, you might still wanna change tables if he's the only one available at this table.
Because table selection at micros (and later) is key, and this is not your mega-fish at micros.
