President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
I dunno if this is a form of dyslexia but I definitely skip over writing words I mean to say
RFK, whatchu got for me?
Congratulations on getting old.
This started for me 2 years ago or so. Sometimes, instead of skipping over it, an entirely different word comes out of the fingers than was queued up by the brain. You all assume I have some sort of brain worms and maybe you're right. Had a good run. Hope the life insurance company doesn't screw my wife.
Class takes precedence over race.
Rich black people are white supremacist is a pretty hot take.
Odd how you can question this when you look at the things said (and done) by Badenoch and Braverman etc. who clearly identify with the white ruling class.

Do they believe caucasians to be a superior race to other races? That is what "white supremacist" means. And on the off-chance that they do, are all rich nonwhite people like this?
Who are the white ruling class? The royal family or something? Rich white people? If you mean politicians, are whites over-represented in the House of Commons compared to the general population?

Just with the ruling class, that happens in the UK to be very white, that doesn't make it white supremacy ffs, unless you explicitly endorse policies to damage other ethnicities or at the very least explicitly believe other races to be inferior.

Quite possibly when you look at some of the statements they made while in power.
No of course all rich non whites are not the same.
You know every well what the phrase "ruling class" means. This is a politics forum and some degree of understanding of commonly used political terms is assumed even for people who just want to troll. Acquainting yourself with these is the price of admission.
I don't actually, and I don't even take much of an interest in UK politics as I'm sure you know since I've never posted in the UK politics thread. From what I've seen there have been plenty of nonwhite politicians in parliament and in cabinet roles, particularly in the last decade or so. We had a nonwhite prime minister. Or does he not count because he's part of the ruling class? Bit of a catch 22 there, if nonwhites in power become "honorary whites" and therefore part of the "white ruling class".
jfc no wonder you're a Conservative.
What, because I don't subscribe to some dumb leftist trope about everyone in the world who has a bit of money being a white supremacist?
Reinforces my point about you not wanting to understand anything. You're now a proud non-reader too.
not really.
it just hard to believe for me that Obama and kamala harris were white supremacist thats all.
White Supremacist in the sense that they support the idea that White Empire should plunder, rape, and murder all other people for fun and profit. and at least in Kamala's case, she diligently destroyed black people all over California through mass incarceration.

Yeah a prosecutor convicting people really bolsters your point.
Is anyone discussing the big beautiful bill, and the extra $4 trillion it will add to the debt, and who it mostly benefits?
1. Does the House’s “one big beautiful bill” cut Medicare? (Answer: Yes, by an estimated $500 billion.)
2. Because the bill cuts Medicaid, how many Americans are expected to lose Medicaid coverage? (At least 8.6 million.)
3. Will the tax cut in the bill benefit the rich or the poor or everyone?(Overwhelmingly, the rich.)
4. How much will the top 0.1 percent of earners stand to gain from it? (Nearly $390,000 per year).
5. If you figure in the benefit cuts and the tax cuts, will Americans making between about $17,000 and $51,000 gain or lose? (They’ll lose about $700 a year).
6. How about Americans with incomes less than $17,000? (They’ll lose more than $1,000 per year on average).
7. How much will the bill add to the federal debt? ($3.8 trillion over 10 years.)
8. Who will pay the interest on this extra debt? (All of us, in both our tax payments and higher interest rates for mortgages, car loans, and all other longer-term borrowing.)
9. Who collects this interest? (People who lend to the U.S. government, 70 percent of whom are American and most of whom are wealthy.)
10. Bonus question: Is the $400 million airplane from Qatar a gift to the United States for every future president to use, or a gift to Trump for his own personal use? (It’s a personal gift because he’ll get to use it after he leaves the presidency.)

Did you read it or are relying on CNN to tell you what is in it?
Will see if the senate approves it
Sadly elections have consequences

No of course not... I did what probably all conservative reps did as well, and just read the summaries. I don't even know if they did that. It's a 1.1k+ page bill that's had many changes over the last 2 days. Nobody's fkn read this thing.
But those points are accurate. Any comment?
What do you think will happen to working class families that are helping w/ their aging parents when they lose their medicaid?
I bet Trump and a lot of real estate moguls will scoop up some cheap real estate when these families lose their homes because they can't pay their medical bills.

By creating a program that would allow Black people to avoid incarceration for weed?
In 2005, then San Francisco District Attorney Harris created a reentry initiative called Back on Track, which aimed to reduce recidivism among certain low-level, non-violent drug offenders. Over a two-year period, the program reduced recidivism among its graduates to less than 10 percent. Back on Track was designated as a model for law enforcement by the US Department of Justice.

The thing about bills are... beyond all the brainwashing, lies, and distortions, bills are black and white letters of intent.
Trump was on the phone, by many reports, yelling at holdouts on this bill. Does anyone think the Senate isn't going to pass this thing? This thing is passing, and probably with little to no changes.
