1-3 NL tough home game, limper bets big on river after calling big flop bet

1-3 cash solid home game, 200 bb eff; Early limper, CO limps, hero in BTN with AdTs raises to 30, CO calls
Flop comes As 9h 8c, check, BTN bets 50, CO calls (!)
Turn 6c checks through
River Qc, CO tanks and bets 150, Hero?

home game full of card room lo stakes regs, including hero and vil.

Hm... you said it's solid/tough home game but you're opening 10bb and 1 limp/call????????????
River normally is a call when turn was check/check. But it's awfully big.
Maybe a fold unless you have some other reads.
Can argue for a call as well but just not sure what bluffs he has. Turning 9x/8x into bluffs? Random floats?

Next time keep betting on the turn. Why check when you pick up the ISSD?

As played, V seems to be repping 2P+, but we block some JT combos. Think I'd usually fold to this sizing.

I would raise preflop to 20 maybe 25.

On the turn you have only three clean outs drawing the inside straight, so I’m good with the check.

Fold the river against an unknown. Calling big bets on the river without a strong hand is the biggest leak in low stakes poker. Your typical player doesn’t make big river bluffs unless they’re on tilt.

I folded because of the tank and the running clubs. Vil said he wouldn’t fold flop because he limped with Ac4. Nice bet, I said.

Both of those statements cannot be true.

FWIW, raising x10 with ATo after two "solid" limpers is pretty meh...although it seems like everyone at the table probably sucks, so whatever.
