I don't think the Constitution allows for mental incapacity. To transfer powers to the Vice-President while in office, the President has to sign a declaration (for instance before undergoing surgery under general anaesthetic) which wouldn't be valid if he were mentally incapable. Otherwise, as clarified by the 25th Amendment of 1967, the President has to die, resign or be impeached by Congress. There is no constitutional protection against a president who is simply gone in the upper storey. Then again, Mr Reagan could barely put two words together towards the end of his second term and hardly anyone noticed, because the machine just grinds on.

A big part of why he won is how unpopular Biden was,how they tried to tell us how lucid and sharp Biden is and how they forced in a nominee nobody wanted in 2020 who did nothing to distance herself from Biden at the last minute.
So if you hate Trump you need to realize the bullshit games the Dems played are a big reason he's in office. And it seems the Dems refuse to learn from this, just make excuses and try to play the fake victim card with Harris.

It's far more likely Biden has been undergoing cancer treatment for years than his doctors just totally missed this until it was stage 4 and spread to his bones. Chemo treatment would also explain why some days he was just totally out of it and other days it wasn't nearly as bad.

that's a protection democrats explicitly decided not to use even if it was a clear cut case.

that's why it is relevant today: democrats demonstrated they are the worst. they kept a n absolutely incapacitated president in place because the optics would have costed them politically.
