1/2 live, $555 eff with main V. I’m in the BB with JdJc.

UTG limps, SB makes it $15. I 3-bet to $45.
UTG calls, SB folds.

Flop ($105): Td9d5s
I c-bet $50, and UTG snap jams for $510.

I tanked. I block a ton of draws, but stuff like T9s, sets, and combo draws (QdJd, AdTd, etc.) either crush me or have huge equity. I folded, but it felt gross.

Side note: I’ve seen this player open $20 pre with QJo from early position and pot the flop with air on J66. He’s also limp–overjammed KQo in another session when tilted. So not exactly a standard nit.

Curious how others play this spot — do you ever call with JJ here given the history? What’s his range look like?

I’m not sure if he was also trapping with QQ+ here.

Very villain dependent.

Folding is probably standard.

His limp/cold call 3bet range in utg is probably pretty strong, some 99+/AQ+. If he's fishy then all pp, all broadways, all suited connectors etc.
He's either way ahead(sets/2pairs/overpairs), or flipping with you (Ax flushdraws, combodraws etc.)

Isn't that top pair?
