What’s your go-to stack for crypto research (especially free tools)?

Hi guys, I hope everyone is doing great. I have a question and need some help.

I have been building out a crypto research workflow and trying to stay as lean (and free) as possible. Curious what others are using when it comes to:

 • Protocol-level data (TVL, emissions, user activity)

 • Token unlock tracking / vesting schedules

 • Wallet tracking or smart money flows

 • GitHub/dev activity over time

Real-time narrative spotting (beyond just CT echo chambers)

Right now, I’m rotating between Dune, DeFiLlama, TokenUnlocks, and a couple of smaller tools. I also came across this list of free research tools that seems like a good roundup, but I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with the lesser-known ones mentioned there or any others I might be missing?

Ideally looking for tools that don’t have a steep learning curve but still give decent depth for building conviction in a project before entry.

Would be great to compare research stacks and see what the smarter folks here are using in 2025.

Not sure if I'm allowed to share links or not but here's the list of free crypto research tools I found from Google.

so you're going to try and be a 'trader' in the Crypto space?
Arbitrage is going to kill you unless you are watching every second of every day.

I have basically a few automations set that are doing things for me which don't require my attention unless someone is dying lol.

But yeah I'm basically trying to be a crypto trader.

most successful people are Hodlers and not traders... but I would use Glassnode.
