What would you do if a sibling of yours would turn infallible all of a sudden?

You'll have to ask my sisters.

So the Pope apparently has a MAGA brother.

Thoughts?

I would heavily lean on the “ex cathedra” part of papal infallibility.

As in if they said something I would ask them “are you speaking ex cathedra or just like a regular dude right now”

I, for one, post ex machina! 😃

as a caveat, the ex cathedra has been limited much more than people think in the last 4-5 centuries.

meaning that only explicit claims made under specific procedures are "ex cathedra" while not everything the pope utters is.

popes very very rarely use it these days.

to give some context, the only ex cathedra claim since 1870 has been the assumption of Mary to heaven (Pious XII in 1950).

Dude is based as. This is hilarious.

There’s always one special needs child in every family.

Yes. And by the way that use of papal infallibility is a huge embarrassment to the church because it is based off of gnostic myths. Early historians of the church never found enough evidence to make this a matter of dogma in the early church, so no reason why it should have 1800 years after the fact.

He sounds like a smart dude to me.

IDK, I'd consider him smart if he's managed to monetize his bullshit.

The Pope hasn't said anything infallible though.

Well one brother became the pope and the other brother posts on facebook about owning the libs.

It's great to see that's what conservatives aspire to now.
