I'll never forget the first time I saw Yojimbo. People said it was good and I said ehhh. 3 minutes in and I was captivated. I thought "wow, this is a good movie" before it even really started.
Heard All Night Long at the hamburger place, what a great summer evening song, maybe GOAT.
Heard a weird wavery cover of Space Oddity at work Saturday.
What am I listening to today? Believe it or not Rosemary Clooney showed up on the ipod today. She's great by the way. But I always wondered if the kids are cancelling this song for racism or cultural appropration? Likely they never heard it or of it 😀

Santana's music during the first four albums (through Caravanserai) are his peak, imo.
things were never quite the same once Schon and Rolie left for Journey
although Welcome with John McLaughlin and Alice Coltrane was better than most.
i've seen him play with both Winter brothers. He was a great guitarist and a great ensemble player. RIP.
