extracting max value from fish 4betpot
1/3 7 handed
V is a fish with some aggro tendencies. Seen him check/raise turn flush board with total air no draws.
Most likely passive with marginal hands, only aggro with bluffs/strong hands?
Hero is a nit/tag.
Had 1 hh vs him
This was from last session.
1 limper, Hero in btn open to 18 w/A8cc, V in sb calls, limper calls.
Flop 337cc, checks to hero, hero bets 20, V x/c
Turn 6c, V donk ship 180, hero snap call and turn over hand, V mucks.
He bought in multiple times for shortstacks, don't remember how he lost them only remember he is super fishy with aggro tendencies.
Actual hand
effective stacks 350
H in utg opens to 10 w/kk, V in +1 3bets to 35, H 4bets to 110, V calls.
Pot 220
Flop 994r Hero?
We have a little over pot size bet left.
Check? Bet?

Just shove. What good is going to come from anything else?
If the turn is an A, are you going to x/f? If the turn is a T, J, or Q are you folding if he goes AI?
You've already got a nice pot for 1/3. If I understand your numbers, pot is $220 and you have $130 max to possibly extract. You're risking 2 to make 1. That's a bad bet. If the pot was $22 with $130 stacks, yeah, try to be tricky bc you're risking 1 to get 6.

I read it as a psb left. You can bet like 80 and shove the turn. Just shoving might represent AK/JJ though. I wouldn't worry too much about him folding. If he has a ace or a pp, he has some equity.
I think I would start with a check. Fish love to put you on AK, so he might rip it with 88 or whatever to deny equity. If he checks back, I would bet small on the turn and jam river. With the SPR it’s really easy to get the money in over 2 streets

Just check. If he checks back, gii on turn. Never fold.
How to extract max value or how to play the hand most profitably? He has some equity, 18% with a suited ace and bdfd, 8% with a pp, 7% with like suited broadway. Those are less than the 33% he needs to put in, so you would prefer he calls if you shove. However, it isn't that big a disaster if he folds.
If you 4! with AK or Axs, what would you do on this flop with a psb left? I would think you would never check. Checking and than shoving the turn looks stronger than shoving or betting smallish.
