T7 turns big vs trappy loose passive
1/3 NLHE 9 handed
Table is okay, we're closing up for the night about to book a win. We cover the table from CO.
V - Young asian guy, friendly. Loose passive but with some trappy lines. Likes to limp shove AA and KK pre. Likes to bet weird sizes, ex. raising 77$ when he has a set of sevens. He's mainly loose and passive though and just calls down but his betting range is very premium. I've never seen him bluff. Even a mega draw like OESFD he'll be hesitant to put in his whole stack. That said, he check calls a lot and is quite passive until he wakes up with it. 500$. BTN.

UTG tilted fish straddles 6, folds to H in CO who sees T♥ 7♥ and opens 20, V calls BTN. HU OOP.
Flop 45 - 9♣ 8♥ 3♠
H cbets 15, V calls
Turn 75 - J♣
H bets 75, V snap calls beating us into the pot
River 225 - 9♦
Hero? There's about 400 back..

Think I would go with a check/call barring some insane live reads. The turn brings in so many draws - every Tx, clubs, etc. I would think a snap call is indicative of a draw - there are some Jx he could have that might call but think I like checking.
bet/fold 150
Or go for maximum value, jam

When you say closing up for the night about to book a win does that mean like you are racking up on the table…because that makes your range to villain look much stronger so that would negate these thoughts. I’m thinking you might mean room about to close or about to leave but you haven’t mentioned that out loud..anyways -
Once again you need to raise more pre to a straddle. Like $30 standard min then can increase that to $35 against guys like this who are tilty fish or whales who are playing 100% vpip. Folding is also fine I fold that hand often enough pre from a spot like that. But I also mix in quite a few limps as well with that hand. If I’m raising I’m making it more though. I’m okay raising that hand if we feel we can outplay opponents and our game is strong.
Flop I’m betting more. $30 probably.
Turn I’m going 3/4. Potting is probably also just fine after all you are playing against a passive Asian with a connected board but I just slightly prefer 3/4.
On River I’m looking to extract max value. As of now I’m not too concerned about a boat. I feel good enough to try and get it in. Buttt…what I would do is $200 River and make a disgusting fold to a shove. Many might say folding to a raise is bad but personally you have a read here that can be exploited. I would likely certainly not fold to a raise if villain was fishy and I would most likely certainly fold if villain was very tight. Your read is that he doesn’t bluff and is hesitant to put it in without a made hand..so I bet $200 and fold if he shoves to save myself some $ to the full house. But I would never ever never tell anyone at table that because that is very very exploitable play. I don’t really like going for a check raise here all that much on River so I don’t think I’m looking to do that hardly ever. A jam is better imo than a check raise but would rather just try and get value which means not over jamming when you’ve repped a strong hand the entire way.
This V doesn't have a boat. They do have QTs though, even if we block it. And I doubt they fold, fearing a boat.
Betting range is premium, and they don't bluff. So, see if V bets. X-fold River vs described player type, unless they bet like 1/3 or so.
