2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
He just simply had to 4 hours post-trade by pulling up Pickens 27 spots and Dak 14 spots.
I forgot I had JT and drafted Giddens. Second time I did it today. Even told myself I have saquon so don’t draft Shipley haha
Hurts, Tua
Saquon, JT, Javonte, Braelon, Giddens
JSN, Smith, Deebo, Meyers, Downs, Shaheed, Lockett, ADM
Jonnu, Goedert, Henry
It'll give you a nice floor when JT inevitably misses 4 weeks with a sprained ankle haha.
Looks like I've got a few Dak/Pickens teams from pre-draft. I've even got a team with
Dak / Lamb / Pickens / Ferguson
Tua/ Hill / Waddle / Gordon
with my guys Shipley and Felton
It's also got Rodgers, but we can't be perfect
Got DK at 54. Unfortunately I botched it by accidentally pairing Kaleb and Warren.
TLaw, Cam, Geno
Pollard, Kaleb, Warren, ETN, LLoyd, Moss
Lamb, Hill, Hunter, DK, Ridley, Doubs, Palmer, P. Washington, TeSlaa
Bowers, Chig
Last year Shipley was my max % “no one’s drafting this guy in R18, I’ll take him” - obviously didn’t pan out results-wise for best ball, but his TD in the NFCCG has me thinking it’s still a good idea to draft him at cost - and certainly more than 8.3% exposure.
Yeah, I think you should run back the Shipley bet. He’s one of my highest drafted so far. A lot of others are on him too. I’m still not sure why his price hasn’t risen.
Saquon coming off a top 10 all time touch season. AJ Dillon and no namers as the only competition.
I drafted Shipley last year, but Gainwell still made me wary because he was a snap eater that the coaches loved. I’m expecting Shipley to take most of the 15-40% of the snaps Gainwell was playing, plus have great contingent upside. He could also give you some usable weeks in blowouts.
Just saw someone pull off the 5th round Hurts/AJB stack from the 1.08. DeVonta went to the 9 spot, so that made it easier.
Mahomes, TLaw, Dart
Kaleb, Pacheco, Najee, Guerendo, Lloyd, Hunter
ARSB, BTJ, Higgins, Rice, Jamo, Hollywood, Nuk, Slayton
Kraft, Pitts, Conklin
Those first 4 WRs together is pretty absurd haha. That is not be possible on UD.
I played a 3-6-6-3 with the NE backfield together. It's alright.
Goff, JJM, Darnold
TreVeyon, Jones, Charbs, Mondre, Justice, Brashard
ARSB, London, Evans, Worthy, Addison, Kupp
Likely, Muth, Arroyo

That's the beauty of DK lol
I think this is a good example on the benefit of SpikeWeek's Draft Hacker. I got my QB3 at 151 and had a choice of Cam (141) or Bryce (152). I ended up going with Bryce and forgoing the value on Cam, because Bryce was a more unique pick for my overall portfolio. I think if Cam had an ADP of 135 or higher, than I probably would've picked him.
Huge Miami guy, and surprisingly, this is only my 4th team (pre and post-draft) with an Achane/Hill combo.
Stroud, Tua, Bryce
Achane, Mixon, Pacheco, Dowdle, Mostert, Kendre
Lamb, Hill, Flowers, Jamo, Pickens, Kirk, M Wilson, Malik
Njoku, Henry, Schultz
Almost got completely destroyed by a qb avalanche, only got mostly destroyed haha
Kyler, Rodgers, Dart
JT, Cook, charbs, Benson, Ekeler
CD, MHJ, DK, Rome, Jennings, Ky Williams, Slayton
Andrews, Pitts, Muth
Just gotta hope Kyler stays healthy.
First Schnauzer in the books
Mahomes, Stroud
Chuba, Monty, Najee, Guerendo, Allgeier, Shipley
ARSB, Nico, Rice, Evans, Aiyuk, McMillan, Atwell, Dyami
Jonnu, Henry
Seems like a great team, maybe 3 te over Dyami but it’s close
Schnauzer #2. I was actually going to pair the cheap SF backfield, but got sniped on James.
Kyler, Goff, JJM
JT, Harvey, Mason, Guerendo, Ekeler, LLoyd
JJ, MHJ, Jamo, Golden, Mims, MWill, Felton
LaPorta, Njoku
Might need to up my Higgins' shares
"Jayden [is] just a big target," coach DeMeco Ryans said after the draft. "I know a lot of people said he's very similar to [Texans wideout] Nico [Collins] and what he's able to do, but you get a receiver of his stature and with his catch radius, it just opens up a lot of things for us offensively that I know all of our guys are excited about."
Yeah, I haven't drafted him much, since I think he's expensive. But I should probably just suck it up and draft him. I almost got him at 115 earlier.
Didn't plan to go 3 QBs here but then changed my mind and sacrificed RB. Ended up with unstacked Kyler 11 picks past ADP.
Kyler, Lawrence, Stroud
Henry, Achane, Etienne, Dobbins, Woody
Nico, Tet, Odunze, Aiyuk, Burden, Legette, Nuk, Dyami
Kittle, Strange
Looks good.
Weird team but improvised. Caleb was 16 picks past ADP. UD hates QBs post-draft. Also, my first Shough share either pre or post draft. I think for the time being, I'm either taking one of the top 4 or pushing it all the way to the 10th at the earliest. I'll just keep setting up stacking outs.
Caleb, Love, Shough
CMC, Breece, Mondre, Tank, Lloyd
Nico, Rashee, Addison, Olave, Pearsall, Reed, Keenan
Loveland, Muth, Juwan
Stacked all my qbs
Caleb , Ward , Bryce
Bijan , Jacobs , Kyren , Corum , Monangai , Estime
DjM, Tet , Godwin , Shakir , Kirk , Thielen , Ayomanor, Lockett
Warren , Andrews , Otton
