President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

I didn't list all the sins of our empire but - let me be clear - the Ukraine war is another sin we've committed for which we would be held accountable in a just world. All of the dead Ukrainians are ultimately properly attributed to the U.S. proxy war against Russia. And all the decades it is going to take to rebuild Ukraine is on us too. Come to think of it the future role of

lol just remember these are the same people that thinks it’s based for Hamas to throw their own people into the shredder for the “revolution” but can’t fathom why an independent country would want to fight to keep their independence

Movie tariffs are moronic, even by Trump's standards.

I mean there has to be a point where even the most MAGA of MAGA has to realize this guy is a ****ing idiot, right?

Nope
Why would think such a thing ?

Remember?

How could you put a tariff on a movie?

It's a straight-up cult, so they will knowingly drink spiked Kool-Aid well before ever admitting their leader is x, y, or z.

But there are Trumpers who are not cultists that will concede when it personally affects them. A friend of mine took a huge hit on his business with the tariffs. While he admitted that Trump is a kook and reetard (at least with tariffs), he still blamed the democrats for it 😃. Baby steps, I guess.

There is a non zero chance we die at the same time as Trump and none of us have funerals.

Is that something that is concerning to you? I'd imagine that that threat is lower now than during the Cuban Missle Crises or pretty much anytime in the 80s.

We are nowhere near an hour to hour button pushing threat + the pre launch surveillance network systems and post launch interception systems we have now.

It's very very unlikely we die at the same time in a nuclear war. Trump has a bunker

That's a tough test. It has to compete with so much. Including this

US sets tariffs of up to 3,521% on South East Asia solar panels

So does Zuck and Bezos and many others but it wouldnt really matter.

They'd have like 20 mins to reach it - and Zucks is in Hawaii. Even Trump would have to be in the right place. That part isn't as practicle as people think. Plus, id imagine that the button pusher would do it at a time when trump could reach safety, which would be most times.

We don’t need the cult to think he’s an idiot, we just need the 20% who voted for him who aren’t in the cult to think he’s an idiot.

Besides, they already have their canned excuses for him, like the deep state or evil democrats trying to take him down.

You need people who voted for Trump to vote for the democrat candidate in 2028 against the republican candidate in 2028, and that doesn't necessarily follow from people who voted for Trump realizing Trump is worse than they hoped.

There were people who thought Romney was bad who didn't vote for Hillary in 2016 anyway.

Focusing on making it "anti trump" can be a losing proposition if the 2028 republican candidate for whatever reason manages to detach himself from the bad qualities of Trump.

The Italian left learnt it the hard way after spending many years with anti-berlusconism.

Yeah we've seen those here too. "It's the democrats fault that we voted for Trump."

Nine months ago on July 13, 2024, my faith took on new meaning. An assassin’s bullet came within a quarter of an inch of ending my life. In that instant, as Secret Service crowded around and knocked me to the ground, I felt what seemed to be the supernatural hand of God. I believe that God spared my life for a reason — to save our country and restore America to greatness. It serves as a sacred reminder of our Creator’s infinite goodness, guidance, and grace.

The chosen one, the savior.

seriously...

I mean there has to be a point where even the most MAGA of MAGA has to realize this guy is a ****ing idiot, right?

If someone realizes that, they are no longer part of the MAGA-movement. MAGA is not predicated on specific politics or ideology, but on loyalty to Trump. Since MAGA is often a big part of a person's identity, this is a tough thing to do for many.

Which is why MAGA-pundits, MAGA-politicians and MAGA-posters often sound like something out of a Leninist regime, where any political point that could be construed as criticism has to specify that it is not criticism of Trump, then affirm that the writer is loyal to Trump, and finally humbly request for Trump to bless the issue with his attention.

So instead of writing "Trump is an idiot with these tariffs" you would write "I support President's Trumps agenda, I voted for him and I support his goals, but hopefully his staff allows him to enact his agenda based on complete information #smallbusiness #TRUMP2028".

He is president so unless it's totally out of the blue he will be near safety. And I'm not assuming he wouldn't be the one pressing the first button of any major escalation

I think you guys live in a made up narrative about MAGA.

It makes good geopolitical sense to isolate China, onshore high-end production to the US, and shift low-end production to friendly nations, such as Mexico, which can become America's workshop. Then zero/zero tariffs for allies with similar wage and environmental standards.

Or I mean, the champion-in-chief of republican Anti-DEI efforts will not count as MAGA now i suppose

It is funny. As I am reading this post, in the background Bill Ackman is giving an interview on CNBC, basically doing exactly this. He isn't traditionally what you would call MAGA, but he is doing everything he can to thread the line and praise Trump while arguing we should "pause" tariffs.

Yes. All those dead Ukrainians are on America and not repeat not on Putin's Russia. And ofc it's Ukraine's fault Russia annexed them in 2014 and invaded them in 2022, as Putin is strong man and Benevolent leader because reasons.

You're like Lord Haw Haw, or at the very least Tim Poole or Gonzalo Lira.

No. Some % of them are so far gone that as long as Trump keeps tilting at windmills they’ll be happy.

Movie tariffs are moronic, even by Trump's standards.

This is what happened... Someone w/ Trump's ear, heard Newsome on recent podcasts talking about how the movie industry has been moving out of LA for the past couple of decades. Newsome has been trying to create new tax incentives to keep more of it back in CA.

This is really just a way to attack Newsome... the Trump campaign has been closely watching Newsome. You can hear it in their speeches and attacks on CA's progress, and now this.

So now Trump did some very good research... the best research. Nobody has done better research, ever, on the film industry.

The reality is, movie companies have been moving out of CA, because you can now edit and produce movies basically anywhere, w/ very little equipment and technology. This isn't the 40's and 50's anymore w/ massive HMI's needed, etc.... post-production can enhance and remove many things you had to shoot on live film previously.

Historian of Fascism Claims Trump Is Speeding Towards Dictatorship Faster Than Putin:

A leading expert on fascism claims the United States’ slide towards authoritarianism is unlike anything seen in modern times.

Donald Trump‘s attempt to consolidate power has been carried out with such speed and ruthlessness that it outpaces the likes of Vladimir Putin and Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the historian contends, with the current U.S. political climate more closely resembling the aftermath of a coup than a democratic transition of power.

Chris Rufo, lol. Bro even calls himself "@realchrisrufo". You're not Trump, buddy, you're a huge dork 😆

Luci, you sure do love your D-list right-wing grifters/political bag-fumblers. Them being massive failures never dissuades you, which is pretty sweet.

I bet you like this video: https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/re...

tilted, "How the Radical Left Conquered Everything" -- yep, that's the US we live in, in no way is that ONE OF THE MOST LUDICROUS ASSERTIONS IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF HUMANITY, all in order to fool some of our country's most gullible rubes into fearing everything around them to such a degree the only solace they can find is in Chris Rufo's dumb book.

The radical left has conquered EVERYTHING. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm late for my job of ninja-editing some of Elon Musk's most Nazified posts on the massive social media behemoth he owns.

Elon (who we call Mr. Musk and are disallowed from looking at him in the eyes) pays me the federal minimum wage of $7.25 for my service. That was another victory of the far left, as we are ALWAYS fighting to keep the minimum wage as low as possible. Racking up dubs. Who is the mother****ing PRESIDENT again?

(to be fair to the theocratic grifter, his vid came out before the election)
