Don’t ****ing challenge an out of bounds situation in the 2nd quarter.

Even if it’s successful.

FFS just get the ball to Kawhi, he will not be stopped.

It blows my mind that teams are still doing this.

If there was still any hope for the Clippers at half, it’s gone now.

My Nuggets up 25 and I'm still nervous.

Why was Jokic still in the game with 4 fouls in the third?

Here comes the furious Clipper rally.

Putting the Nugget starters back in with 220 left up by 25 is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Denver opening +610 vs OKC

also lol harden

wtf was that clippers

Foreal? 610 seems reasonable from the Nuggets side. Problem is they get 1 day to rest. I guess we'll see which way the line shifts but the clippers played fairly well for 5 1/2 games or so and they got the better of them.

Speaking of the Clips, if I'm Balmer I'm firing Lue after that game. Im making a few changes if contracts allow and id be livid after that game. The effort simply was not there. Embarrassing.

meh your 2 best players are kawhi and harden in 2025, how much better could you do

they way overachieved this year

AG miracle play doesnt happen in G4 and they probably win the series

I think I talked about the challenge strategy before so bullet points.

-If you can put 2-3 points on the board or take 2-3 off with a successful challenge then go for it.

-Otherwise hold it for a crucial moment in the last 2 minutes.

-Fouls out of bounds **** em.

Series changed once it went to one day breaks. We are old. Put your money on Houston.

I concur with this. Smart money is on Houston. Granted anything can happen in a G7. But Rockets are the “right side”.

It's an interesting phenomenon. But if I had to pinpoint it, it's cause he's lazy and as the games get tighter his style is less effective. You can be more physical with him and not let him do his little bumps and shoves to get easier points. Also, he's never been a dude accused of being in tremendous shape so he struggles the longer it goes.

Or he's just a choke artist.

Only 2 days, I just think Lue has run his course. He's had bad luck with injuries but this whole "one of the best coaches in the league" stuff is weird to me. He won a title with LeBron and he became anointed. You keep Kawhi and a few guys and run it back with a fresh voice.

let's go Denver Nuggets...lets go Denver Nuggets....Hoops & Hustle!!!!

a long time ago, someone played a CD for me that they had made of Denver Nuggets theme songs over the years. this was early 1990s and the songs were 1970s & 1980s. The lyrics above were from some 1980s version that I still remember for whatever reason. I can't find any of these other theme songs except this one:

(you have to open the link in a new tab to rock out 😆)

anyways, go Nuggets!

Harden will never win a ring unless is like 3rd or 4th options .
That guy just isn’t a winner , period .
Just cant never have that big game when his needed ….

Bold statement to say a guy who’s 36 will never win

I think Kareem is done too.

Few bits above I disagree with.

Clippers had a really good season considering Kawhi was unavailable for a lot of it. 3rd in defense, took Denver to 7 - all things considered a very decent outcome relative to expectations.

Harden is 35. He’s not going to be the best offensive player in a series win anymore. He started off really strongly, but him struggling the longer it went on is not surprising. He simply isn’t a very efficient scorer anymore.

They just didn’t have enough to beat Denver, that’s the long and the short of it. Westbrook provided much more impact than any of the Clippers role players. I don’t see this as a great failure.

And sure, the manner of defeat last night was rough but that’s what can happen in game 7s. You just hit the wall and there’s nowhere else to go.

Arrevederci Pop. Prob hung on a couple extra years too long, but a league legend for sure.

Long enough to fix the lotto for Wemby.

He’s made $200,000,000 playing basketball

On that topic, there’s a pretty hilarious graph/chart here, is any other player this extreme?

Stephen King blurbs are to movies.

JMHO but it seems clear that regardless of tonight’s outcome it’s time to maximize Steph’s remaining trade value and that Kerr is in the Belichick post-Brady phase of his career.

Bold statement to say a guy who’s 36 will never win

Meh .
My point was about how often in crucial game harden gets so bad , consistently….
Yeah ok 36 but 7 points ?
That’s the point ain’t it , if his your second option your just burn in the playoffs , always been .
Last year last game :5/16 -> 16 pts
The year before vs Celtic game 7 : 3/11 -> 9 pts .
The year before game 6 vs Miami : 4/9 -> 11 pts .
The guy just can’t never perform when it matters in the last game shrug .

I’m just piss , I wanted clippers 😀

Harden was definitely instrumental in Powell and Zubac having career years, made both those guys better players with his passing/gravity

but he just isn't good enough to be the 2nd best player on a contending western conference team in most situations, not much more to it
