Poilivere is a career politician entrenched in the system and with many Canadians relying on the government tit the minor tweaks he was offering wasn't enough for people to change or vote for him.
I think this explains your utter inability to understand why millions of Canadians see shades of Trump in Poilievre. You're so far up the ass of Trump's "winning spirit", that the idea of a politician who just lost like Poilievre ever being comparable to him is just incomprehensible to you.
I understand it, look at the chart I posted. It's obvious the demographic that constantly has the TV on for background noise and watches CNN, CBC, CTV, etc daily views Trump as their biggest concern. Because Poilivere is a career politician he didn't have what it takes to convince those people otherwise.

It doesn't make sense for him to right now. We could have another election within the year and Carney has the big task of negotiating with Trump a trade deal while Trump has all the leverage.

I think the basic disconnect we are having is that as a dedicated trumpkin, you are just really struggling to see how millions of Canadians view Poilievre not the way you do - as someone that can't possibly compete with your hero - but instead as someone who absolutely has taken a page right out of trump's book and they don't want any part of that.
This election was really two issues, at its core. Change vs Trump. Poilievre represented change from the deeply unpopular Trudeau era, rightly or wrong. But Poilievre also represented a timbit trump, and Canadians overall hated Trump even more than they hated Trudeau. For instance, the polls were very clear that people thought Carney would do better dealing with Trump than Poilievre would.

But when it shifted and the media was all in on connecting him to Trump he had nothing, proved he was just another hollow career politician that doesn't have the energy or what it takes to win.
