2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
LMAO
What do y'all think of Christian Kirk? I'm seeing people nuke him, but I don't think I agree with it.
Higgins/Noel aren't great, but I still think Kirk will be plenty involved from beginning to end, and I still want to bet on that offense. And we always expected the Texans to draft at least 1 WR. We've seen plenty of round 2 and round 3 WRs have rough rookie seasons.
If Kirk falls into the 11th/12th, I'll probably be pretty heavy.

I’m still in. Would bet that at least one of the 2 WRs fail if not both. I kinda think Kirk is pretty good at earning targets
2nd/3rd round 2024 WR rookies
Coleman
Ladd
Polk
AD
Corley
Burton
Roman
McMillan
LMC
Mostly zeros outside of Ladd and end of season McMillan. Plus had XL and Pearsall at the end of the first, who also weren't great.
Seems like another classic case of mid rookies being boosted above the quality vet. This is one big adjustment I plan to make this season compared to last. I kept blindly chasing rookies who I thought had opportunity, even on negative news.
I feel the exact same about Higbee, who has been going undrafted so far. Maybe it's some take lock, but I'm just going to bet on Higbee over Ferguson this season. The Rams are still pretty light behind Puka/Davante.
Damn, pretty low on the top 4. The other 5 all seem fair. ETR is historically lower on rookies, especially to start the process.
I'm doing some rookie rankings, and **** does it get gross after the top 20 or so. Honestly, it feels kind of gross once I get to Dart. It's a work in progress, but these were my initial gut instinct. This is nonTEP.
Spoiler
Ayo should be higher
Think Sampson should be slightly higher bc I think he has a good shot at a time share w Judkins (not exciting, but contingent upside is good)
lol this is why I can’t do DK at volume.
A high volume capable runner.
First one!
Fields, Trevor
CMC, Monty, Kaleb, Sampson, Dowdle, Hill, Martinez
BTJ, JSN, Hunter, Godwin, Kirk, Palmer, Robinson, Felton
Jonnu, M. Taylor, Kmet
First two Schnauzers. Definitely felt more comfortable having all of the pre-draft volume to give me a good ADP gauge. Though, got locked out of QB in the 2nd one and had to scramble with Bryce.
If Burden is going to stay in the mid 8th or later, I'm going to have too much lol.
Kyler, Drake
Achane, Kaleb, Guerendo, Dowdle, Shipley, Lloyd
CD, MHJ, Worthy, Waddle, Jennings, Burden, Kyle Williams
Engram, Henry, Gesicki
Trevor, Bryce
Bucky, Jacobs, Tuten, Benson, Roschon, Mostert
Chase, Hunter, Sutton, Pearsall, Meyers, Burden, Coker
Jonnu, Strange, JT

Yeah, you're probably right on both. I just really don't care for day 3 WRs haha. I made some adjustments. Basically sunk the rookie TEs other than the first rounders. I also moved Milroe up. When the choice is day 2 TEs or day 3 WRs/RBs, Milroe seems like a fine upside chase. Even if he's likely drawing dead long-term, if he gets the chance to start, he can provide some value.
But looks like I mgiht have sniped Maye from you.
All good. It happens.
All the rookies and 2nd year players (12 total).
Fields, Maye
Henderson, Harvey, Kaleb, Guerendo, Shipley, LLoyd, Mitchell
Lamb, London, Wilson, Rice, Golden, Tre, K Williams, NWI
Loveland, M. Taylor, Muth
