Do you think that ELD has what it takes to cross a border?
That is, does he have passport OR enhanced driver's license? I would say it is at least a 50% chance that he does not.
Further, ELD might have a problem getting through customs. If they changed the rubric on him, he mind find himself in enhanced interrogation or lock down.
He is obviously training for the International Marathon and a sprint across the Gordie Howe bridge.
Meet up game ..lol. 50 yo has been. Is this his swan song?
How in the hell did Trooper get set up with the Venetian? That TD must have said "You're who?".
You would think a promo poster like this would include the location of the game, so people don't have to guess that it's at Westgate.
So I typed the phone number into google, and it's a Venetian phone number.
This bullshit about unfinished business.
Trooper played poker for 20 years, finally admitted there's no money to be made, he's made youtube videos for a dozen years, with little change in format.
He started a candy business, quickly failed and lost $50k of his girlfriend's money, so wtf business is unfinished?
I've been thinking about the potential for my comps in my upcoming trip. seems like the only sensible choice at Bellagio is the buffet. not buying an $18 hot dog or gelato
happy hour at il fornio and gonzales Gonzales really good for a good price .
proper eats ramen is reasonably priced .
Luxor public house buffalo wings are super good , El Diablo also has a happy hour there
and (only eaten there once ) but bucca di peppo at Excalibur also has a good happy hour
(i get 200 a week in food credits at mgm properties )

that's great and all, but I'm trying to find a place to use my poker comps, which are all only good at the specific MGM resort played

Ive gone to venetian to play poker maybe like 3 times in the new room, ive seen one of the guys from trooper thursday group there every time. Plus venetian is doing anything they can. Good move by trooper, i cant imagine theres a large turn out, trooper is a very angry person and not the typical fake friendly type that makes up meet up games, which i do respect. If they get even 3 tables id be surprised. But good for him
So OMC did a vlog from this week's Trooper Thursday game.
It appears the game never got 9 handed and was often 7 handed.

I'll be shocked, and it will be because of Joey Ingram colab.
Cornell vs. Yale Nomadic Challenge:
CNN reports on a Yale graduate who is a Nomad but failed to figure out the Nomadic Method. The Yale graduate correctly identified the problem of Nomads namely 1) where to find a 24 hour restroom 2) where to park 3) how to eat and 4) how to get electricity. Once these needs were identified Yale was unable to teach the Nomad how to solve same.
The best the Yale graduate came up with was getting a solar panel on his tent to power his laptop and cell phone.
Clearly, Cornell has beaten Yale in the battle of the Nomads and furtherance of Nomadic theory and research.

Don’t give the Trooper too much credit or now believe that he’s some super savvy networking businessman either.
The answer is actually quite simple really. Joey Ingram is the savvy networking businessman. He has already mentioned on a recent podcasts and while broadcasting during Venetian Poker Live that he has a current contractual partnership with Venetian. So he clearly recruited the Trooper and asked him if he would to like to host a meet up game.
That’s the reality and quick truth in a nutshell. No one should put much stock into believing anything else because it’s really quite simple. The room will still be busy no matter what, per usual, which will just so happen to coincide with this “special meet up game” that I’m sure so many of his loyal followers will be attending. (Sarcasm)
The funny part is Trooper clearly isn’t much of a welcoming or pleasant host. He will probably be paranoid thinking about which haters will be present rather than fake friendly greeting and meeting new “fans”.

Too bad he thought he was done cause he told everyone what that super secret 100% reliable tell is so now people can reverse it and get paid huge.
He is not a hospitable person.

The first week did briefly get two tables going.
The second week (the Thursday that just passed) appears to have never filled even one table.
In today's youtube vlog, Rice played 6 hours and 3 minutes of poker at the MGM and profited $3.
Dealing can't come fast enough for Rice.

You sound like another miserable hater!! Have some respect for a top 1% player. Meanwhile, Diesel provides us with his most extremely goofy and aut1st1c thumbnail for the ages here.

OMC check folds the turn here as he puts opponent on 6's full, plus his rule is that if he feels he's behind, he must have 8 outs to draw minimum to call, this did not qualify. Turns out he was right.
Trooper gets his AA cracked (no promo) and doesn't miss a beat in whatever stupid story he is telling.
Westgate should cancel their deal with Trooper for promoting another brand.

And he says he considers that a good day's work! Just shows that he is 100% only playing for comps and promos at this point. He considers literally any profit at all to be gravy.
I have to take my hat off to him. He is one stubborn sob. How someone can be happy to spend their prime years sitting at the lowest stakes games for hour after hour nitting it up just to make a few $ per day is beyond my comprehension.
