Good fold or no?

Good fold or no?

Mind you this is an online 0.25/0.50 cash game, I have been underfolding tough spots on the river so I thought I'd give it a shot and ask for advice.

Im in the cutoff with KTo, action folds to me.

I raise to 3BB, BTN and LJ both call.

Flop comes TTJ rainbow (trips for me)

Checks around

Turn is a Q (hearts, 2 hearts on the board now)

LJ checks, I bet 4 BB into 9.5 BB, BTN folds, LJ calls

River is the Q of clubs (no flush on the board)

I bet pot for 17.50 BB, LJ raises to 40 BB

I fold, thinking he must have a queen given the check on the flop and the call on the turn.

Good or bad fold? And should I have bet on the flop?

Hey. Stack sizes are helpful to know. You said it folds to you but LJ is still in play (this is 9 handed?) Do you mean BB? or LJ limped? if they limped your open size should be bigger, usually 4bb. I would bet the flop.. Generally multiway you just should play more transparently, and there are so many hands that will call from BTN/other position. AP, river you need to be good roughly 35%.. I would think you probably are not but it is close and this is 50nl where I'd imagine players do take these lines more. What site is this?

I think fold is fine as played.

Try to put the converted hand history here though rather than typing it out. If you're using pt4/hem there should be a copy/paste option for 2+2.

Yeah I would fold, its not a spot I would expect to see a bluff, and your line/sizing looks more like a Q than a T.

I would bet flop - I'm assuming LJ limped, so you want to put money in with your strong hand vs a weaker player. Also BTN is less likely to stab 3 way with a fish in the hand.
