Suspected collusion at 25k tournament between Martin Kabrhel and Zdenek Zizka
Hi,
I would like to bring a situation to your attention that occurred at a 25k PLO tournament in Tallinn on April 13th.
Zdenek Zizka, as a fact, is Kabrhel's newest horse and has been for one or two years as far as I could tell.
It's not a coincidence this and things like this are happening and has been been ever since Martin started playing online and then offline after getting banned on Stars for multiacc.
Do NOT play in cash games or small tournaments with anyone friendly with Kabrhel, you're being set up to lose and it's not because you're worse player.
Zdenek is more of a victim here and has likely been forced by Martin. Just the newest horse of Martin, the previous one almost ended up suing him for keeping other people's money.
Tournamnet directors of all series (PokerStars', GGPoker, WSOP) should prohibit these players from playing. Say no to cheaters, scammer and generally predators.

Kabrhel played the tag team event with Zizka last year at WSOP, which makes it undeniable they have known each other.

A lot of the hands in OP are just clear collusion imo. Bigger stack RFI, hit a flush draw with SPR 1 and Q high and you dont jam? Limp when you know theres a 4bb stack at the table and fold to his jam? Egregious examples of soft play at best and when it happens repeatedly with the same 2 players in a bubble spot just clear collusion.
Like another poster mentioned, the bigger issue is that the tournament director and tournament structure allows for a situation where people can late reg so close to a bubble spot. Just asking for this kind of situation to occur. Its so incredibly easy for people to get in situations where they are heavily incentivized to soft play their friends/acquaintances when you allow late reg so close to the bubble. Even if its not planned between 2 people. It shouldnt be allowed, but dont tell me a lot of people wouldnt innocently find a smaller open size, a flat instead of a 3b, or a nitty fold to a jam against someone they know personally in spots like this. Its also impossible to police also unless its extremely egregious what 2 people are doing.

I get that overlimping AA hands is perfectly normal in some spots but in this one Zizka should be iso'ing Kabrhel's limp like always there, no?

Willing to grant that... and on its own that hand is not much. But I do think it's worth including given the context.
There is a big gap between the level of evidence that would make me uncomfortable playing a game compared to publically insinuate someone is cheating.
So you feel the sheep deserve to be sheered without warning. Good to know about you. You would be uncomfortable playing with them but do not feel the potential victims should be warned.
I can say that im 100% sure kabrhel is zizkas employer because i know both of them personally and in czech republic this is also a well known thing. kabrhel owns a poker news site called pokerman.cz where zizka does some "lawyer work". i have it on good authority that hes staking zizka as well.
The AA77 overlimp is pretty sus. If your goal is not bust your guy then this play makes sense. Not ISO’ing that hand is extremely uncommon but it could simply be the BB/SB have prime shoving (potting) stacks.
But I can’t help but think this guy would be sacrificing quite a lot of EV in these spots to keep Martin alive. No smoking guns but everything combined is suspicious

Kabrhel actually has a genuine love for poker in contrast to these douchebags who just treat it like a job where they can eek out a pathetic wage playing on makeup/stake for single digits of themselves while getting pocket money from their backing daddies so they can pretend to live the high life.

Kabrhel is using gamesmanship to set people off so he can have an edge. I have seen this when I played basketball and darts. These type of people have low morals and character. If you guys want the class and etiquette to dissipate from the game you should keep supporting Martin. Martin is another person who will do whatever it takes to win whether or not it is morally accepatable or not. This is why I don't like the guy but I do know he is a strong player. He reminds me of every scum basketball player or pool shark I have met.

I can understand people who think he's annoying. But talking about etiquette in tournaments is pretty silly at a time when people strategically tank in mass. The high rollers are incestuous with people in super small events sharing backers and swaps. That's not remotely morally acceptable. The fact they're mostly a bunch of polite nerds doesn't change that. You seriously think when guys have 5-10 percent of themselves but also have 5-10 percent of a few other people at a final table in some event they can't afford to play on their own they're not trying to keep those guys alive?
