it's super common to see people go through checking certain machines so you follow them to learn and then you see them start playing a game where you can't see the play so you're trying to figure it out and then you see them go to the triple zero roulette game despite that there's a double zero right next to it
Do you think he sits out those $5+1 bomb pots at MGMG? Wait, who am I kidding, 3 whole big blinds per down, or 6 per hour?!? That's more than his win rate, so of course he sits them out.
The problem I saw with the double board PLO bomb pots at Venetian was it can take 10 minutes so a good portion of the down are these bomb pots. They can also dramatically shift the stack sizes.
I understand why people want to play them but for 1-3 NL, I think it's a net negative overall.

I haven't watched a OMC video for a while. He is living in Laughlin with is lady friend in a house and will drive all the way to Las Vegas for Trooper Thursday. He is also going to make a video about his time as a deputy sheriff.
Trooper and Diesel play OMC hours, while they still might do some bomb pots during those hours at MGM, never seen one at Venetian during the daytime.

He definitely is playing a lot of non AP slots. Huff n Puff is an example. I mean unless he happens to be a slot designer or technician and knows something that no one else knows.
He also said he's never lost more than $500 in a day. That's incredibly dubious unless he avoids all the longer volatile plays where you can get totally wrecked.
Yup, was about to say this. And he would still get comps for sitting there watching that. It’s only a couple of times an hour he would need to sit out and he won’t lose any money sitting and watching.

It's already $1/3NL he plays at Horseshoe, I think there is only a couple places in LV that still play $1/2NL.
Only difference is $200 to $500 buy instead of $100 to $300. So, he can still do his nit $200 buy in, but the game plays a bit bigger so he will be much more at risk of getting all his cheddar in play.

OK now I remember him saying earlier why he’s grinding the Horseshoe for the free roll for the WSOP tournaments. I don’t even think he’s qualifying for the 15 hour weekly tournaments, he’s not playing enough hours.

It pman actually does think in his mind that he is a good player then instead of smoking weed and playing videos games, he would go out grinding especially at night.
For trooper he only has the daytime since he has to go back home to lady trooper. Also the fact that the games are better at night, wouldn’t lady trooper support trooper playing at night if she was a good girlfriend?

2/3 is probably similar to Bellagio 2/5 where the max buy-in is only $500. At South Point and Venetian the max is $600 to start and it plays much bigger than the 1-3 games Trooper and El Diesel are used to. Horshoe has a $500 max.

The thing with Pman is he has a losing hourly so he's correct to not play poker especially cash. With tourneys, his losses are limited to the buy in so it's easier to manage your losses.

Haven’t been there much recently but I saw regs trying to get fish to play them and occasionally a fish would sit out.
Bomb pots are a hustle by regs for sure under the premise of fun gambling. At a game I play in at aria they do a thing where every dealer change the sb makes up a game, a lot of times it will be kookooroochu or something idk how to spell it. Where flop you can either put in half pot or fold, then on river you can bet and raise to the size of the pot, you can do like the pot is 100, someone bets 20 you can only then raise to make 100. I think it’s much truer to the purpose of the game. There’s all sorts of games you can choose tho. Hard to get that set up at a normal public game but it is a much better way to go about it
