Can't believe I spelled Boski wrong in the title, jesus I'm tired
I think they're probably both calls? The first one for these stack sizes I just almost always am calling unless I have some crazy read.
The second one is tougher because of the extreme short stacks and the ICM impact of the final table. I think you'd be ahead of range, but it's also possible SB has really tightened up for that reason. You can plug the stacks and payouts into an ICM calculator to get an idea of how much equity you need to call. Then it's a matter of figuring a range for SB and A9o's equity against it.
Boski has 7-minute levels at this point, right? That makes it tougher to pass up edges, especially in the first case.
(also, I'm pretty sure you can use PrtSc to just take a desktop screenshot.)
100% calling the first one.
Second is around 75% for me. SB should be jamming wide enough for that.
The first one is a call.
The second one is tough. Clearly we are getting the right odds to call as SB's range should be very wide. However, because there are 3 very short stacks this might not be the time to basically get it in with a hand where we could be behind. I don't care about laddering up as much as winning so my gut instinct might be to call. But in the moment I might look for better spots where we are the aggressor.
Thank you all for the feedback and the screenshots from the sim, really appreciate it.
Hand 1)
I put in the call, SB had KQo and BB had JJ, but I flopped a flush and held
Hand 2)
I found the call, Kreacherr had A3o but he spikes a 3 on the flop, leaving us as a short stack
Was able to ladder up through a set of small miracles and get heads up but Kreacherr had 10:1 chip lead and we take 2nd place for $1,480
