Mucked cards exposed to 3 bettor only

Mucked cards exposed to 3 bettor only

$1/2 card room, $300 max buy, 8 handed.

H, $600, has 22 on Bu, 2 limpers, H raises to $10

V, $1200, in SB and seat 8, 3B to $35.

BB, seat 1, folds and dealer fumbles the cards a bit. V says it was either A6 or 26. Weirdly, BB can't confirm either way.

Folds around to me as I'm asking dealer what cards were folded. She doesn't know and says she can't hunt them in the muck.

I'm not calling V's raise if one of my 2 outs is gone. I call for the floor. He says he can't do anything.

Other players openly debate if I'm sitting on 22 or AK. Floor and dealer say nothing about the table talk.

I realize I'm out of options in a shitty situation and fold face up. I know the table talkers should have been warned to stop.

Did floor rule correctly or was there any dealer or floor action the rules would dictate about the exposed or possibly exposed cards?

It’s in the muck, you’re out of luck.

You can talk to the DC or floor about the dealer fumbling cards but if it was a one off not really a point.

If the dealer can't identify the two cards, what do you expect the floor to do?

The SB said he wasn't sure what the BB had. Unless you plan to hook the SB to a lie detector, you should just take that he was not sure, it is table talk and move on. The BB was absolutely right in saying nothing about his hand.

Dealer and Floor handled this correctly as described.

The only thing they should do is shut down talk about the hand or player holdings until the hand is over, but it's a minor thing because it's not like they really know anything.

yeah, there is no way to identify the cards, and BB can say anything he wants about what he had with no way to verify it. If he doesn't volunteer it, then just accept it and move on. Even if he does volunteer something, you have to take it with a grain of salt.

With 22 you're almost certainly 50/50 or worse, just move on with life.

I think you made the mistake in showing any interest in what the cards were. If you are going to play 22 to a 3bet, I hope it's not just to set-mine but because you have position and an edge on your opponent, so just ignore the mucked cards and play.

But he is getting 2:1 (if I recall the raise size correctly). Plus we know that 22 is one of the easiest hands to play post flop in low limit.
