I think it's fine.

Depends who you are playing against. Any reads? No reads I like.
No tangible reads. I tend to assume the pool at 10nl is at minimum a badreg fish? There are very ocassional exceptions and no offence because I'd tag myself probably. Some of us might be winners but in remotely novel situations I think our game usually goes to pot and reveals a greater weakness. So worth studying.
So it looks like we're f-ing the turn up basically.
Incidentally wow I've just discovered this stunning new feature in gto+. There's a button next to the turn EV heatmap that says relative and it smashes the visuals up to 11 for a clearer view. Like so:
Basically anything that isn't A, K or Q is bad for us. On this turn we lose approximately 2/3 of our EV to IP. So we don't have many bluffs at this point:
We can bet some ♠ combos and good blockers almost always get a pass if we assume V will slightly overfold, but therein lies the problem:
...their range is crushing our range. Literally. It crushes us at the top and with high equity draws. This is probably even a fair approximation of the tree vs certain thinking opponents.
So I think it's a punt. I would assume 150bb version will only confirm this
Yeah on second thought Ceres, after thinking this actually through... lol I'm not 100% is correct in gto country but I see a few issues with that line.
Like how many value hands do you take to the river like this? At one point I would imagine you would like to check the turn or river with aa kk, and I am guessing also with tx at frequency. I just don't think you are getting much to call you with this line with most of your value hands, so for me, I think this might be slightly overbluffed line. For ex. are you bluffing ako like this as well?
Yeah I think it's getting way out of line with freq
GTOw @ 150bb likes it better but that's playing the flop properly with enough mixing. It's too aggressive imo. Having the A♠ is nice in theory but probably means f all in practice ha
Edit: also sizing dubious. Alright that's enough proof
The other thing is not everyone knows how to play deep stacked as well. So I think in general, players will be playing tighter pre in this spot.
yep
dude had the AJs, which is fine. I was distinctly telling him it was 'fine' at the time. But I gave him a passive tag out of spite ><
tags are prohibited to be used for spite.
You are not making trips or better fold, I see some tank calls from T9s here and there but I guess they are not doing it every single time, so around here is probably where our threshold lies.
The $1,000,000 question is, how much of the other stuff that we want villain to both have on the river in a decent amount, so he can fold and make our bluff profit, for example, low pairs, low pps, are in his range on the river? Well, for this to happen villain would have to keep defending those hands on the turn, and I don't think this is the best turn for us to have that expectation. A 2h turn or other brick turn is what would probably make a river triple barrel bluff better, exploitatively speaking, in my view. In summary, I don't believe you want turns that would make villain nit it up, is what I am trying to say and to (badly) explain, and on the 8 turn I think this is exactly what happens.
So, I changed my mind, and think this is a river I am giving up with this and even other bluff combos also, and think your 3 barrel was too ambitious.
Really bad combo to do it. You dont block AJs QJs, but you block ATsQTs AsXs
Even if you were certain that vilain only calls the river with at least a jack, it migh be a punt
