- Women becoming famous for being pretty, rich or whorish
- those stupid TV promos that cover half the screen when I'm watching something else. I don't really want to see Kyra Sedgwick suddenly walk out from the edge of the screen and eat a ****ing cookie every ten minutes, okay??
- Nancy Grace, Hannity & Colmes, Keith Olberman and especially Bill O'Reilly
- being broke
Bush is responsible for the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of people because of his lies and the lies of his appointees, and even more than that if you ascribe to him the ensuing destabilization of the Middle East, the rise of ISIS, etc. Trump is corrupt to the core, and he is grossly incompetent, but his legacy is far better than Bush at this point.
Not any more, real soon. His legacy is starting to look like it'll be like the legacy left to Cambodia in the early 80s from the news reports we're getting in Europe. Or if it goes the way it might and Americans get really mad, maybe 1780s France.
Small complaint, but I won't watch a YouTube video with the creator making a stupid face to capture an audience. Do they really think that making a stupid face entices anyone to watch the video?

It's always this face.
Even more obnoxious are schticky YouTubers. Overly animated, loud, lots of cuts and bad jokes. Save it for radio. I don't want Handsome Dan giving me a crash course in neoplatonism.

I watch YouTube all the time (I don't have a TV), and I have no idea what you're talking about.
search on youtube for "reaction videos" - they are a lot of fun and a bit of a rabbit hole to go down, but they all use this stupid shocked face thing

Not exactly watching that, and this one I don't mind, but it is those stupid shocked faces and silly expressions.

Insane that I have to google whether my measles shot from childhood is still effective today. Do I need a new MMR shot because people are goddamned idiots about getting their kids vaccinated?

Going from memory here, so check your sources, but I believe so.
When I was checking into vaccinations prior to going to India, the doctor told me that one old vaccination had two formulas. Both were expected to confer lifetime immunity, but it turned out over the years, one didn't.
Of course, record keeping from so long ago (chisels and stone slabs), nobody knows which formula you got. Turns out, there's no harm (other than the usual reaction) to getting an update.
95% sure we were discussing MMR. I see online I got MMR end of last year, so pretty sure that's it. It's a two-shot series, a month apart.
