that's the message not the consistency. if the message is "soon x will happen" being consistent about it for 30 years is proof of actual logical inconsistency at least at some point in time.

Don't need a master class on the role of the president. It's defined clearly in the Constitution. The canard about being the only one elected by everyone isn't even true. The president is elected by a handful of electors. It also isn't relevant to the role, as that is, again, defined by the Constitution.

I would not expect cops to stand around in situations like Uvalde. It would appear a great many pussies somehow become cops. It is a fairly surprising reality.
