Cherish Andrews is the next Vanessa Selbst
Her results in the past few years is astounding. Strong understanding of GTO and has great instincts. Unafraid to make unconventional moves, very aggressive. I really think she is the next Vanessa Selbst and will eventually surpass her as the most successful female tournament player of all time.

She hasn't done much in poker but she has a law degree from Yale. I'm sure she is lawyering it up somewhere.
She said she retired from poker in 2018. But she has a couple of tournament cashes after that. So, who knows about poker.
While she has a Yale Law degree I have not heard one way or the other that she ever sat the bar.

MIT/Yale Law, aggro in Bobby's Room now works at Jane Street, a HFT firm chock full of uber geniuses, ppl who solve games and puzzles. Not a place for some regular grinder with 1550+ SAT scores.
Going Infinite is a great primer on both Jane Street and the toxicity of effective altruism. EA is a recycled and tendentiously argued cathartic release for super geniuses/self-righteous types attempting to justify their apex predator behavior. All those types have been trying to absolve their guilt since the chimp scene of Space Odyssey. A problem as old as time.

and the reason is because she sold her action on PokerStake at 1.3 MU she doesn't need to.
I was never a Selbst fan as a result of her antics and personality, but her poker accomplishments put Cherish Andrews to shame. Still plenty of ways to go before her name enters the same city as Selbst, much less the same room.
That said, this Andrews has had a nice couple of years and certainly shows a lot of potential. Her biggest scores are still only in 500-600 player tourneys plus the recent 70 player high roller. If she can hit a big score (1M+) at WSOP this summer, I'm sure she'll start getting more attention.
Vanessa had it harder as she didn't just get to bang some top tier male crusher and steal his ranges/frequencies/esoteric live reads while simultaneously securing backing.
