my biggest fear is not dying, but it is getting disabled and having to count on family members or the government to helping me out.

people are really egoist, and if you don't have nothing to give back to other people they will see you as a liability, unfortunely.

being afraid of having family and neighbors offer to help you out in a time of struggle is a unique take

aint no calories in pride


That last line hits hard — “ain’t no calories in pride.”

Pride can be noble, but when it keeps us from receiving help we genuinely need, it becomes a trap, not a virtue.
