It's amazing how Rice has a friend come into town for a couple of days who right away plays a 1600 dollar pot in 1/2 nl. That might be bigger than any pot Rice has played in 5 years and would definitely make his top 5 ever.

For me the most crazy part is that he has managed to convince himself in his own brain that up until now he has been playing to maximize profits.
That is so far from reality its scary that he is able to tell himself such a massive lie.

Ya I love how he spins it like he's getting burned out from poker or retiring from poker cause the games aren't as fun. The reality is making sub $10/hr isn't a viable retirement strategy. Also funny how this revelation just happens to coincide with him starting to deal during the WSOP and making his yearly nut in six weeks. He also tried to deal the Circuit event at Horseshoe not that he needed the money or anything but just that he would just happen to be in town and him dealing would actually help the Horseshoe with added entries from his vlog viewership base.
But ya, Diesel finally realizes it's better mentally to enjoy life for two months before the WSOP starts than grind poker for $7/hr especially better mentally when you don't admit it to yourself and it's "just a change of focus" randomly.
I just played with him last night at Horseshoe. He raised 1 hand in about 3 hours, limped from the small blind twice, and was generally passable as a table mate.

Yea today he actually sounded honest about poker for the first time. It's maybe at best a slightly profitable hobby for him at this point and a way to earn tier status. Maybe he'll start acting like an adult and deal more than a Orleans series per year.
ELD states he was speaking about the nomadic method with Bill Tate and ELD is trying to get his MGM tier this year and he probably will only get Platinum at CET.
ELD states he can play for two weeks at around 12 hours per day and get gold tier for two years. This will be explained in a future video.

My guess is Rice will be dealing multiple poker series next year.
If he had applied for the WSOP Circuit Series Las Vegas stop in a normal procedure, he'd be dealing that this year, which is ongoing right now.

Met PK in mgm a few years ago. Great guy. Then went for dinner at the restaurant next to the poker room and his wife was our server, lovely women. Glad to hear he is still dealing etc. He has won at life with his family and friends so hopefully doing well financially
