ELD conducts more nomadic recon this time at Caesars Palace seeking intel on the lost poker room which had 34 tier credits per hour.ELD states he questioned the janitor who provided no information and ELD speculates it may return if the five diamond rating system mandates that the hotel restart the poker room.ELD counts the slot machines where the poker room was and contemplate
Now this is the type of precious info that should be behind a paywall and here he is just giving it away for free.
Lmao@ this clown counting slot machines as though that will give him any idea how much money they're brining in for Caesars.
His investigative skills are ****. He is interviewing Janitor's, security and maintenance workers to get intel about the if and where the new Caesar's room will be and claims he has no idea where it will be located.
I have barely been paying attention, but didn't that other thread about this subject show a map and show exactly where it will be and even a date of opening?
Every time Rice does one of these weeks where he gives results it's the exact same thing. He claims that the week before was so much more exciting and volatile than the current boring week of non results that he is actually reporting on. It's like he thinks he's not allowed to just tell us the "volatile" week's results instead, or as well. I mean if it didn't happen in the desi
For sure, everything he says and does is basically massively laughable.
I was thinking the other day about how he is actually playing to achieve those non excistent swings for several hours long sessions. Like is he actually only vpiping QQ+ and AK thats it? I guess he setmines with small PP for a 2 dollar limp if that is possible?
He is just an empty chair in every game he sits in, and the other players are adjusting correctly by not giving him any action at all. Let him sit there folding and breaking even/lose small every game he plays because he arent getting paid off even by the most clueless fish.
Another thing is that its just stinks supernit/zero action off his appearance. Imagine a guy that looks like a homeless, havent bought any new clothes for the past 15 years, wait for the blinds to pass before he wants to get dealt in and so on. My god, you have to be absolutely ******ed/high as the eiffel tower in Paris to put in any dollars to a pot Rice is entering.

Yea you can definitely just look at the guy and know not to give him action. And he's definitely the type to wait 5 hands for the button to pass to come in for free. It's always funny to me when total randoms do this- you're literally telling the entire table not to give you action.
I always thought free hands should be a courtesy. As in you sit, you're dealt in to get you in the game. It shouldn't be something you can game to get even more free hands.

Exactly,if you do that you are just putting a gigantic "supernit" tattoo in the front of your face. As if a guy like Rice needs even more advertising regarding how nitty he is,my god.
Its just such a bad look to do that sort of stuff in order to save pocket change money.
Edit: and the famous icing on the cake is when a massive tightwad like Rice is managing complaining on bad games or dry games. Its just legendary, totally off the charts.
I'd say for Diesel, being a super nit is less impactful on his win rate as it is his lack of large bet sizings when he gets a playable hand.
Do you really think Diesel is going three streets with AA using near pot sized bets vs a rec calling station on a safe looking board?
My playstyle when I played full time was definitely on the nitty side. But I always piled in the chips in any siutation that called for it.

Agreed. If you are playing fulltime NL at the 2/5 blindlevel it makes perfect sense to be tight preflop at least with very good hand selection, then have some moves up your sleeve postflop for different spots/lines.
But with Rice his nittyness seems to be his whole world in everything he does at the pokertable. It also seems to be a total mental roadblock in his head in regards to losing money in a pokergame, wich the now famous Red Rock Massacre AA hand is a perfect example. He loses half a buyin with AA,and proceeds to have a total meltdown, aborts the session and runs back to his room to recoop.

Being a super nit is definitely is life goal. Look at his financial advice. He's advocating for a dividend portfolio while in his 30's for goodness sake.

There's a difference between tight and being scared.
He thinks his tiny swings are a good thing when they've held him back for years.
It's not an accomplishment to handcuff yourself and play super weak tight so you only have small wins and small losses.
His trips with Herbs and Rye and hilarious when they play in the same games. H&R wins or loses 3-5 times more each day than Rice. But he actually plays poker.
How many followers?
More importantly, how many days in a row has she produced vaguely poker-related content?

Do suited connectors for cheap. You could be legend for being on the other end of Red Rock Massacre Part Deux.
Or at least shove if the boards ends up 3 or 4 to a flush. It would be worth it for the possible entertainment value if he folds. And you show the bluff.

They don't allow that in California cardrooms. At least, not in the one I used to play in.
I find it outrageous AbbyPoker won a Global Poker Award for content creation, and Rice didn't even get nominated.
Damn rubric.
If I understood his video about it correctly, he said he did actually get nominated but just didn't make it into the finals.
Probably if even 1 person nominates someone then they are at least in the initial running. Maybe his childhood friend nominated him.
Caesars poker back by the elevators and food court would sound the death Knell even before it opens.
So if Rice is at a table where people are straddling, does he mutter to himself and immediately request a table change?
