No sure if it's True, this happened 2 minutes ago. Just misclicked Fold red Tens to PF3B [and called with T9dd on another table]... rabbit hunt came ATT. I told the guy I hope he didnt have AA because I misclicked TT, he swears he had AA. Immediately shut down tables and go for ice cream.

=_____=. Tilting week just got worse.

(-$50): AA < TT [T76][6] [4BP, CB, T JAM right into the nuts]
(-$50): KK < AA [AK2][6] [4BP, C off v CB, T JAM]
(-$50): AA < A5 [K55][J] [3BP, CB75% got 2 callers, Villain open JAM T]... at the moment I said to myself this is a fold.
Looked again and convinced myself into a bad crying call with these reasons (completely ignoring that there's still another player to act from the SB)

  • All A5s are blocked
KK / JJ might 4B at some frequency
so I am losing to 45s | 65s, which might not be in his UTG opening range
maybe he turned TTP or maybe TP+FD

I thought I was playing pretty well, but these hands in quick succession reset me back to negative for the session

Finally things started turning, at least a little bit

(+$50): AKs > AA [K72] [SRP, villain flats AA, 2B overbet JAM 150bb into 40, I call off w TPTK + nFD] suckout =)
(+$50): 77 > 66 [762][9][2] [SRP, I donk lead 100%, CB100% and overbet JAM R] cooler for me
(+$30): 55 > ?? [KQ3][3][4] [4BP by villain, X, C v delay CB25%, 2BJAM v small RB] I think I made a good play
(+$50): 77 > QQ [J77][6][2][SRP, villain didnt believe my xR, CB, OBJAM] cooler for me?
(+$25): 33 > KQs [973][2][9][SRP, CB50%, xC, xC v OBJAM] villain punted, maybe he saw I was shutting down on the turns alot
(+$50): TT > A5s [943][9][3BP Villain F to CB12% so I decided I was never bluffing the F, CB100% c v his xR, C TCB JAM] exploited villain tendency

NOT GOING TO BE EASY, ANOTHER GOOD SESSION AND WE CAN MAKE IT EVEN FOR THE WEEK (BANK ROLL WISE, IG EV Prob Not)

how did you amass so many C$?

I never use them and they accumulated over time.
Rough estimate of C$ per playing day (2.5k hands @ 25NL Ante 200bb deep)

GG Care: $15 [ITM ~50% of the time, usually top 1-3 stack at table depending on balancing mechanism. max received $250, mostly $12 - $20]
Leaderboard: $8 [mostly just make the money $5-$6, got top 3 maybe two or three times?]
Mystery Drop: $10 [fairly consistent, roughly $1 / 250 hands] (but it's dropped onto your stack, so unless you cash out, you wouldn't see it in the cashier as C$)

eg. Today I'll get $20 from GGCare | $6 for Ladder | $4 for mystery drop

PT4 has me at -20bb/100 for this week (it was -infinity after first two days).

I thought I was playing above average after first two days and just running into the nuts.
Numbers don't lie, maybe I am delusional.

Today's highlight (-$100, a whopping 1000bb pot)
88 SB P3 vs UTG, BB cold call, UTG call.
[875] 2 tone. xC v UTG Stab, BB OBJAM 400BB?!?!?, UTG CALL
I basically snapped, thinking I must be up against some combinations of 77, 55, 66??, A6s??? A9s??? 99??? QQ+???
BB shows 46o, ran it once and stacked 88 and 77.

Managed to refocus had some run good, fought back to +$50 for the session. Quite happy about that at least.

"Let's get back to even for the week" ... not even 10 minutes into the session (didn't even get up to 8 tables yet) ... became
"Whap, looks like a long grind back"

(-$40): AKs < AA This was very much a punt, got distracted setting up tables and didnt notice villain has 3% 3B =____=
(-$20): A2s < JJ [K92][T][T] [SRP, blasted off, villain made good C on R], maybe not the right R to blast
(-$25): TT < QTs [987] [3BP (Villain), BvB. Villain JAM over my donk bet, Turn=Q]
(-$30): AK < AQ [752][A][2] [3BP, monotone. Both T TP w Good FD. Villain R the Nuts and lead 100%, of course I call / lose]

Thread is not dead, just seems that way.

  • Barely played these 4 months, a side project got in the way.
  • Returned to the felt in earnest this week.
  • BR is back near all time high.

I haven't changed much in the way I played strategically, but I have played better poker I think.

  • Lower number of tables to 6
  • Set better schedule (dead of night when no one is there to distract me)
  • I found myself thinking... oh wow that was a nice play I wouldn't have made before.

Today I found myself playing at 9+ tables and made some mistakes (could've saved 250bb if I were on my A game).
Dropped back down to 6 tables and made most of the money back despite some run bads.
Decided to post here to remind myself to avoid playing too many tables (usually I fire up 9 and choose best six after 2 orbits, today I went back to old habits - auto pilot).
Somehow I am consistently running below EV but I've stopped worrying about it.

Moving forward:

  • I'll allow myself a 3 month extension to reach 8888.
Post will be less frequent / less precise as I found myself spending too much time on it last October.

Decent progress for March, as I feel the card distribution had been quite poor for me. (remember + ~3bb/100 in bonuses isn't nothing) =D
Finally reached the half way point of my personal challenge of ($8888).

Highlight hand of recent weeks: Single handedly turned February into losing month pre bonuses.
600bb ($150) deep versus villain w 2000+ hands played together
Villain is tagged as "crazy | blasts off" w WWSF @62%
I had doubled up from 300bb to 600b recently AA vs JTs by flatting his huge BTN PF3B and xCalling 3 streets. [98622]

P: A5s UTG, P4B v SB 3Bsq.
F: [247]r
CBet small - villain clicks it back - call
T: [T] villain continue w slight overbet- I 2B virtual all-in w nut FD - villains calls 250+bb w 98s for naked OESD and got there =_____=
Steamed in the moment, but looking back I am fine with my thought process at the moment.

  • Villain typically 3Bsq w suited connectors + premium while flatting PPs 99-.
  • Starting w greatly reduced (if any) small PPs in his P3Bsq range, he has nearly zero combos of sets in his range.
  • We are certainly deep enough for a PF5B, so I discounted KK+. But I was OKAY if he stack me with weirdly played KK+.
  • I really couldn't think of what hand he possibly could be doing it for value, except AA.

achievement unlocked: $4800

Things have have been going quite well. Watching Doug & VeniVidi take it on the chins sometimes and remain confident really helps put things in perspective. Believe in what you are doing, the results will follow.

Worked in more bluffs and got called super light. Luckily I've gotten better at not tilting.
A5s BTN P3Bsq - CO calls.
F: [986] (30bb)
T: [K] delay CBet 50% (60bb)
R: [J] overbet150% ... (maybe a smaller sizing suffice, but I didnt want to deviate from my normal sizing)
looking for folds from A7, AT, 77, TT, QJ, possibly KT?
ready to die to KJs, 98s, sets, QTs
I am repping AA, KK, KJs, 99, 88, 98s
got called by 76s... put me on EXACTLY A5s / AQ???

Later in the session: same villain (different table, not sure if he noticed)
KQs BTN P3B vs HJ (30bb)
F: [764]
T: [Q] delay CBET133% (100bb)
R: [J] overbet JAM150% (400bb)
This is probably an egregious overplay according to GTO, but I thought it made sense against this specific villain.
2Pair+ probably xR to get it in on the Turn. (Q created a possible FD)
I was ready to lose to QJs, straights, maybe AQ?
The more perceived bluffs I have (this villain certanly thinks my river Overbets are bluffy), the more thinly I can go for value.
He tank called with 88. We scoop and created tons of value.

slight difference from previous record, I previously accidentally filtered for 7+ players.
Also the numbers look better than All-In Adjusted =D makes me feel less grumpy

Another +4 buy-ins =)
New high mark: $4900
Boat over boat +$25
Planned Triple Barrel turned into value bet, binking set on river. +$50
AA < KK -$50
KK < AK -$25
KK= AA $0

Punt of the day:
AJs UTG...
[F]: [J42] Cbet33% BB called
[T]: [7] Cbet133% BB called
[R]: [7] Barrel150% BB called .. flipped over KK
I did a double take... then I noticed I had confused two tables.
I was UTG+1 and I flatted villain's UTG open.
I definitely should've xBack R | play for 2 streets of value, not three
=(

Play of the day:
AKs BN P3B v CO...
[F]: [T98]
[T]: [T] I delay cbet small
[R]: [9] CO donk slight overbets ...???
... I think Tx, QJs would've xR Turn.

  • Die to: TT, 99, T9s
  • Possibly die to: ATs? AA?
  • Likely Chops: AQ, AJ
  • I am a hero if: KJ, KQ, 77-22, 87

The numbers say Call, but I am very bad at hero calling.
I was looking for reason to fold, but... OP's RivBet Freq is at 63%
Don't like it, Call .. profit =) OP had 77

Question time: open to suggestion / answer:
>> So I was reviewing my monthly results. I found the following

  • low hand win % >> best months
  • low F CB % >> best months
  • low 3 B% >> best months
  • best months >> best red lines (still just break even)... how does that work???
Win fewer hands, bet less, better red line?!? What's going on

  • my guess: during losing months
[*]maybe high F:CB >> T: XF is costing sooo much money???
[*]maybe generally too loose in EP??
[*]maybe players are calling my 3B wider and I give up post flop too quickly?

Drop back to 4850 after flirting near 5000.

Felt like I was on my A game, music, coffee, peaceful night.

  • Cards were running terribly (you know what I mean, all flops missed, all folds would've hit)
  • Anyway struggling to stay afloat but played generally played well.
  • Finally stack someone of huge overJAM JJ vs AK on runout [222][4]
  • Steadily moved up to +$100 when...

It might be a mental thing, but getting disrupted in the middle of a session really messes me up.
Probably would've happened anyway, +100 to -50 in a matters of minutes, close games call it quits.

In those few minutes (like I said, probably would've gotten stacked either way, but I didnt feel like continuing after being annoyed and running bad)
AQs MP c SB P3B: -$50
[F]: [332] c vs cbet33%
[T]: [6] 2B bluff FD... got 3BJAM on, have to call ... SB shows ... JJ and took my money
This is quite bad in practice. Villain feels I pure P4B QQ+, AK then I actually don't have much (any) value. Good play by him.
I actually only P4B QQ+ 50% of the time vs SB and in the moment I justified to myself that my nFD semi bluffs are protected by QQ+.
But my PERCEIVED range is what matters and I would've remembered that if I took a bit more time to think!

Very next hand
TT UTG c CO P3B: -$50
[F]: JT2 xC
[T]: [2] xR
[R]: [Q] JAM ... right into QQ

Then ... I punt 100bb by 3Bet bluffing on the flop against a no-info opponent (this is just pure tilt). He showed me trips and laughed. -$25
Then ... my 44 ran into a runout of [Q84][T][J] (4flush) after I CB Flop, OverBet Turn... villain lead overbetJAM river =____=... I guess I fold. -$10

Finally ...
QJs BTN c SB P3B, bb came along
[F]: [JT2]
[T]: [J] Action: delay CB-C-C
[R]: [K] Action: X-B-C-2BJAM-C... what?!?
I have an easy fold... they flip over AA v AK .... what just happened????
Not necessarily a "bad" fold now that I am writing it out, but in the moment, I decided it was enough for a night.
Didn't even wait for the BB, just closed up shops and quit.

One of those sessions that felt much worse than it was.

  • Session started off rocky... -300bb quickly
  • AK < JJ
  • big bluff ran into rivered 2 pairs
  • Got 3B'd a ton when RFI bottom of my opening range =____=
[*]Got a rush of cards, AA,KK maybe 7 times within 20 minutes
[*]Steadily climb out of the hole and moved from -75 to +100 (400bb)

  • Set < Back Door Flush -200bb ... it was only third pot bet on river, cry and call
  • Value own myself ... P3B, cb33, cb75, JAM KK on run out of [24468] ... ran right into slow played AA.
  • Set 55 < Set 66... could've been worse, I CBet Flop80%, Overbet T, X back river [T65][9][4]
  • AA < ?? ... RFI UTG, 4 callers ... MP bet55%, OB T into 2 players... and I sad fold????? [642][7]r
  • QQ < KK < AA ... 3Bpot [KQ5]... money goes in ... I am inline to break even... but AA scooped w [J][T] runout =_____=
  • Felt like nothing went right for the last 2+ hours, but it was only -50 for the session,

😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

2 hours in, and my session was mostly flat. Then the deck hit me and I got paid with EVERY SINGLE HAND
won 7 stacks in 2 orbits.

  • AA > JJ > AK
  • AA > JJ
  • T9s > J8s [T92], SRP: I donk-3B-call 4BJAM - pure coin flip, held twice
  • AA > KK
  • 88 > AK [842K], OP P3B, x Flop, 3BJAM T into my set
  • 76s > 32s [543][K][A], SRP: OP punted, xR F, overBet T, JAM R right into my nuts
  • JTs > KQ [432JA] SRP: OP tested us with, x F, overbet T, overbet R ...
he has crazy stats, I tank turn and decided I was calling any non flush R...
I wonder if he would've stacked me if river = K/Q... or maybe he would've checked?
  • K2s > QQ [822], I P3B bn v CO, he xJAM v my cbet... sometimes you just run hot (I stacked this guy 4 times across 4 tables in 2 orbits

Played 2 more hours and made steady progress. Peaked at +270 and ended at +200.
KK < A8
AK < AK
JJ < KQ [JT5] BTN P3B, he cbet JAM into 3 players and got there
TT < J8 [T95] ... I P3B UTG1 v UTG ... villain call (misclicked) from SB... DONK JAM ... and won 2 of 3 runouts (back to back hands, same villain... he promptly leaves the table =____=)
I found myself losing a bit of concentration and call it a night.

10k when?

Also enjoying the way you desribe hh it's very easy for me to follow.

By that time, hopefully my game in 3BP would've strengthen a bit and I can get by without the bonuses =D. 8888 July 31st is the target as of now.

Another 3 stacks accumulated. It aint much, but I felt great with how I adjusted.

Woke up early, fired up some tables to see if I can continue the hot streak.
20 minutes in and I am down 300bb quick and getting ran over.
Pots were routinely getting shoved, PF reaching 30+bb regularly.

Shoul've stayed in bed

  • AK < 32s, [J9295] 3BP: I tripled off 200bb probably a punt, but how did he call???
  • KQ < AK, [JT2xx] SRP: OP x F, call T, call R overbet w AK high
  • AA < A8s, [7429K] 3BP: I tripled right into Backdoor nuts villain BTN cold called my UTG+1 3B?! I also overbet T... really did not see myself getting called by better
  • also just an unbelievable amount of folds I was making, felt I was (definitely) getting run over

Games were good, give myself another 3 stacks leeway after a quick 3 minute time out
Made the following on the fly adjustment to my game

  • NIT up opening range (I removed 4 entire grids from my RFI range) - vs over aggressive villains where pots balloon out of control we really want a strong range
  • RFI smaller sizing - lets just give them a bit more incentives to play (or 3B) against our strong RFI range
  • replaced all suited connected with PPs in out flatting range - let's just get a set and stack the crazies
  • 3B linearly - if 3Bs are not getting respected, the bluffs aren't worth much
  • 3B less - pots were getting 3Bsq regularly by mid / shorter stacks
  • Go for big thin value - if villains want to call, let them pay
  • Decrease freq of 2nd / 3rd barrel

Lucky for me the turn around was just around the corner

  • AA > JJ > AK > QT Flatted MP, SS JAM, SB REJAM UTG called off and I flipped over AA and held
  • QQ > TT, [972]3BP, I x JAM vs his CB
  • JJ > 88, Flatted, 4B back JAM
  • AK > AQ, [AKx]3BP, I x JAM vs his CB
  • 44 > TT, SRP: flopped a set, villain bet-bet-bet fold
  • 55 > KQ, SRP: flopped a set, fast play - stacked TP
  • AA > 99 4BJAM preflop, villain somehow found a call 250bb deep
  • KJs > 55, [QJ22Q] SRP: X, 2B v small T CBet, R I overbet vaillain doesnt know how to fold
  • AQ < AK, SRP: OP slow played TPTK and I value own myself w huge TB, R overbet ... similar hands repeated a few times
  • Also made several 2BJAM | 3BJAM moves vs crazies w capped range, mostly worked out
  • Lots of pots were bloated unnecessarily, so we just play tight and profited =)
  • Starting feeling a bit uncomfortable playing outside my normal game 400-500bb deep and decided to call it a short session after a few mid size pot mistakes

  • Session felt better than the results.
  • Quickly climbed from -50 to +100.
  • Last 30 minutes punted it all back.
AK < KK -200bb OP had really wide 3B range, but I probably could've saved some amount of money here

When you are winning, GG does not give GGCare Flipout for "Bad Beats / Cooler".

  • House < House
  • K Flush < A Flush
  • These would register as cooler/bad beats if I had a losing day
  • Can't complain, 11 big pot + JJ for quads.
  • End up registering nearly 200bb for the flipout, let's hope I get some $$ (2nd / 3rd stack ~20bb)

Nice reading material!

Keep it heavy

by CL_FLUSH

Nice reading material!

Keep it heavy

Thanks man! Sometimes I wonder if there are more than 1 pair of eyes (mine) looking at this thing.
Most threads have graphs that are skyrocketing and here I am struggling along grinding the bonuses / slightly above EV =D

New peak: $5100 =)

GGCare Flipout came through w the +$45

Before I start the session:
You've been running well, don't feel bad if cards don't go your way.
500 hands in and I am down 400bb in the most frustrating way.
VPIP close to 30% which is wayyyy above average.
Cannot make any hands whatsoever.
Checked stats, WWSF@22% (usually 40 for me) - yeah you can't win sessions running like that

  • QTs < AJ [J94], I xR and villain 3BJAM, OESD+FD missed
  • KK < AA
  • KK = AK
  • but mostly just TONS of mid size pot that cut me down
  • LUCKILY, most of the "big" pots were only 100bb deep, keeping damage manageable
  • AK > QQ
  • AJ > TT
  • 77 > AA [653K9] SRP: BTN flats v CO. 2B v CBet - T CB66 - R Villain B66??? I had to go for it and 2BJAM ... he quickly F, showing AA
Winning two flips salvaged it to where I am only -50bb.
Not feeling great about how I let the card-dead affect some of my play
Taking 45 minutes break and see how I feel after that.

Not exactly a disaster, but it felt that way.
Quick -400bb in 25 mins and don't have the energy to battle through it.

  • KK < AQ We flats vs UTG open from CO - SB P3Bsq huge and we BACK JAM ... got quartered
  • QQ < AA Crazy guy straddle to 64, I JAM MP QQ right into his AA
  • AK < KQ [KTT35] 3BP: villain P3B - CB33 - CB50 - CB66 ... rivering BDF
  • QQ < ?? [KQ5TA] 3BP: CB33 - CB50 - VILLAIN OPEN JAM RIVER =______=
  • Q9s < K3s SRP BVB: villain CB - OVERBET150 - OVERBET JAM... flopped second nuts vs flopped nuts =______=
  • KQ < 88 [K83Q4] 3BP: CB33 - CB75 - JAM ... not sure why I would JAM here ... there's not much worse than can call
  • I thought the KQ JAM is a mistake and thought I'd better call it a night
  • Flopped quads, set, set, on 3 tables, got no action

Got near $5200 but couldn't hold on to it. Tilted away 120bb near the end.

  • AA > AK [Kxx], 3BP: standard bet-bet-JAM
  • KQ > AA [KQT47], SRP: villain overvalue AA and bet big all 3 streets
  • KK < 77
  • AA < JJ I flat RFI - back 4B and he 5BJAM

At this point I am still steadily chipping up, playing a bit on the tight side pre as people try to run me over

  • A9s = 77 [992], SRP: Villain donk POT, 3BJAM ... I call off and we chopped
  • QTs < 88 [J98], 3BP: SB cbet, co R I got nothing to do but JAM, ran and lost all 3 times =______=
  • JJ < KQ [T95], SRP: BB xR F, overbet T call of v my small 2BJAM... somehow I rivered a set =_______=
  • 98 < JJ[Q88][Q] 3BP: I CB33, tank X - villain fires B and call off v my small 2BJAM... somehow I lose this one too =_______=
  • Above were all 400+bb pots... then I tilted off P4BJAM TT into QQ

  • Beating 10L Fast 6max
  • Move up - gets hammered
  • Repeat x2 =___=
  • Switch to 9max ante

  • Beating 10NL Ante 9max
  • Move up - gets hammered
  • I love how the BB/100 is green, like it's mocking me
  • ... let's hope I am getting better and history does NOT repeat itself

  • In game EV has been terrible since start of 2024 when I try to be more serious

  • Not any better since posting on 2+2 when I doubly try to be a winner

  • But it's not all bad, BR has been steadily going up.
  • 89 instances of bonus / rakeback / flipout / BBJP etc etc
  • I estimated in detail in an earlier post, for me it's about 2.5bb/100 in bonuses if you exclude the big BBJP and take the consistent regular bonuses.
  • I did not go back to enter the Pre 2024 Sept 1 bonuses, but BR was mostly flat during the losing 6max months. So maybe roughly 1.5bb/100 in bonuses when I played 6max? (it's just a guess)

Will be posting less frequently, need to take care of stuff from IRL

Didn't feel like whining about it in the previous post.
Quick 60min -180 session and BR was at 4800 last session.
Today, we come back with a +180 (700bb)

What I did in between:

  • review preflop 3B range (I'd deviate / tighten for 200bb)
  • review preflop 3B defense (already memorized, but review / be confident is good)
  • review my cbet strategy (again, mostly a confidence thing)
  • review hands versus common opponents
  • found that I was deviating too much based on OP's stat and not enough for stack depth and my later streets decisions don't make sense given the deviation (mostly widened my range vs wider range (BAD), then overfold because my heuristic tells me "oh here you F bottom of range" ... but my bottom of range had changed...

Review some old mental notes

  • Galfond: You are going to run worse than you can ever imagine at some point in time. How you manage it mentally and financially will make / break your poker career
  • Polk: Everyone runs bad and have bad days. You make tons of money off tilting players. When things go bad is when you generate EV, bad players tilt, good players make money off tilting players.
  • XYZ (also Galfond?): If Poker is like Chess where the better player wins virtually all the time, there will be way fewer bad players willing to give you money.
  • VV1993: I still get nervous when bluffing my stack, but that comes only when I am uncertain about the spot. If I think it through or know it's the right move, I just do it and know I did what was necessary.

So I start the day ready to battle 4-5 hours.
I also decided to sit 100bb deep instead of 200bb deep. (too often 300-400 bb deep, uncomfortable)
Day off starting where it last left off.

  • AQ < 88
  • AK < 88
  • JJ < QQ
  • AK < 22???
... maybe I should take the day off =D and not be grumpy with the kids tomorrow
... nah I compartmentalize well, my kids don't ever know how my game is going
... I would've JAM QQ+ in those spots also, it's a fine play 100bb deep and I am sure of it

Then it started to turn around:

  • AK > AQ
  • AA > JJ
  • KQ > 98 > 85 [AT9AK] 3BP, bn (maniacal fish) straddled: I P3B CO vs HJ, bn (straddle) came along. F CB tiny, T check through, R HJ leads pot (the size didnt make sense to me since I still have all the AK,KK), I get a nice pot
  • 66 > A9 [A6692] SRP, (straddled): I lose some value when I led R and he just called =T
  • 99 > J8s [88649] 3BP, I CB small, X back T, miracle river and he stacked himself w 4BJAM???
  • T9s > 65s [872] 3BP, I CB small - 3BJAM (SFD vs naked Mexican OESD) massive favor held up
  • QQ > AK
  • AKs = QQ [752] 3BP, I CB small - C his 2BJAM w 2Over + nFD, flip

By this point, all my tables were back over 200bb with 3 of them 400bb+

  • AA > AK [A72] 3BP, CB, CB, JAM standard cooler
  • 98s > ?? [A65JJ] SRP, CB, CB100, OVERBET got through
  • KK > KJ [QT445] SRP, CB, XC, XC
  • KQs < JJ [JT6] 3BP, I tripled off, with bet - bet - JAM ... into a full house
  • 66 > KK [J653T] MASSIVE ERROR - SRP, 2B v CO CBET, somehow I did not barrel T (even tagged Villain as "cally when draws dont get there"), R the front door flush got there and I had size down
  • AQ > A9 [AA55Q] SRP: villain was passive until a massive 3x R xR-JAM...??? THANKS!!!
  • AA < QQ
  • AK < A3s Flat - 4BBackJam - lose
  • T9s < 88Flat - 4BJAM over SS (50bb) shove - lose (but these thinking move makes me feel like I am playing correctly)
  • TT < ?? [AK7KT] 500bb deep 3BP:, villain CB50, villain check back T, villain 2BJAM v my lead ... I guess I fold???

There were quite a few hands that I thought: oh wow, that's ME playing well (probably just a normal day for crushers, but for me it's a good day).
I MIGHT HAVE TO CONSIDER sitting 100bb deep and moving tables at 400bb+

  • my PF is more solid / automatic (not questioning my 3B | 3B def)
  • a standard PF range without deviation allows me to concentrate and not worry
  • the rest of my game tree is easier to navigate (when PF deviates due to stats or stack depth, I don't deviate accordingly post flop - nor do I know how)
  • do not have the sense of being overran, TPTK? I am sending and I know it's just correct at 100bb. 300bb deep... well I don't know what I am doing

easy come, easy go =T
one of those session where you are definitely NOT THE MAIN CHARACTER

  • 66 < QQ
  • 88 < AQ
  • AK < AK
  • QQ < AA
  • QQ < JJ < AK

40 minutes in and I am down 4 buy-ins ... when I realize, I made exactly my first (maybe second?) successful CBET.... WTF???
  • 32s > AK [A54K9] SRP Villain gifted me a stack by limping AK and then OVERBET x3 to stack himself.
  • AT < 88 [AT8]
  • TT < AK
  • KQ < AQs??? [J223Q] SRP, I CB-3B OTF w K high FD on monotone board , I turn barrel, river value B the Q... he got there with AQ no FD???
  • K6s < KQs [543KK], I xR combo draw vs MP CBET, perfect T and R to get me stacked =____= ... again .. how he continue versus a big xR w K high no draws????
  • 88 < AT [876A9], I xR F, CBJAM T... and lose
  • 44 < JT [765J], I xR F, CBJAM T... and lose... WHAT ARE THESE FLOATS???

so ... 2 hours in and I have won one single pot above 100bb and have 8 tables below starting stack
  • AK > KQs [62289]3BP: villain T probe, RJAM and we picked it off
  • 55 > ?? [8766T]3BP: I xC, xR, overBet JAM and got it through
  • AA < 65s bvb, villain flopped SF while I held the nFD. "Luckily", I did not get there and lost only mid size pot
... okay time to just call it a night
other than that KQ < AQs??? [J223Q] hand, where OP can easily have the nuts, I don't see any obvious mistake.
sometimes the RNG just say "nope, you are not winning today"
result is actually better than I thought in game, -$150, 6 stacks
