I actually thought today's Rice vlog was pretty good. I know (or, should I say, "knew") nothing about a dividend. The video was useful. I also did not know that the number right of the = was called the "product." And while I had a vague sense that you could increase the "product" by adjusting EITHER number to the left of the =, it was helpful to see it demonstrated graphically. I'm more of a visual learner, so Rice's time spent editing the graphics was much appreciated.

who is the "poker player" who reads the mean stupid comments? because all I see is a homeless vagrant who is always in a parking garage or some random location. don't you have to actually play poker to be considered a poker player?

It would be impossible to understand the subsequent advanced lesson plan on Rice's favourite subject of Dividends without first doing that primer on simple multiplication.
I don't think there has ever been anyone in history with as little wealth and income as Rice who has still given so many lectures on the subject. If he spent even half as much time acquiring wealth as he did discussing it then he would be a lot better off!
I had the exact same thought about this comment. The use of the phrase "Red Rock Massacre" is a dead giveaway...
I had to laugh when Rice talked about the "Red Rock Massacre" comment, cause i instantly thought somebody from this thread was behind that comment.
Also Rice seemed genuinely annoyed/tilted about that comment and that somebody coming up with a name for the AA hand at Red Rock.
As always its literally amazing how he manages to dodge the essence of every comment.

Diesel really thinks "they" whoever he's referring to (the company or the market?) lowers the price about the same amount as the dividend payment that day? As much as he's so hung up on dividend stocks to the point he thinks he's an expert to the point he can make a vlog about it is hilarious. I love how Diesel never mentions ex-dividend date but I guess he figures that's too complex for his viewer base to understand.
The only way Diesel can feel superior is if he assumes his viewer base are third graders which if you read the comments is probably spot on surprisingly enough. He can't accept reality cause then he would realize he's actually an idiot and approaching life extremely sub-optimally so he must continue to live in his bubble.
