ELD will use the fine China in the air bnb kitchen to serve the high cuisine goolash rice completed with a packet of hot sauce and mayonnaise packet with plastic spoon. Classical music shall be playing in the background during dinner. The finest Red Gatorade will flow freely in champagne glasses.

Hilarious but true. Don't forget the finest of artisan pocket breads.

And for desert, milkshakes.

Well he no longer gets the voucher drinks for free milkshake redemption. So desert will be have to be sugar packets, and maybe some other fruit preserves he has swiped from a recent lounge visit.

That was over 10 years ago. Was that a thing back then?

Rice has been a pioneer in everything he does.

Diesel is back! Just when I was quitting his vlogs, he drops getting f'ed by WSOP-C dealing job cause he sent a private email to the hiring guy vs you know, applying at the caesarsjob.com website like normal people? I'm surprised Diesel didn't show up at the guy's house or when he was at the gym to ask about the dealing job cause that shows ambition!

I also like how his dealing experience is all of 6 weeks. While it did seem like he did an overall good job dealing and the running the games, if you were the hiring guy and looking at blind resumes, would you choose Diesel's or anyone else that has years of dealing experience?

It's becoming apparent why Diesel and the work force/HR don't mix well. Diesel thinks he's entitled to any job he wants and to get paid more than everyone else cause he's the best.

He made this guy out like he had it out for Diesel and screwed him out of a roster spot. I wonder if Diesel realizes his vlog is public and he stands out and is easy to remember if he met him. I'm sure the staff at WSOP-C would love to see what that vlog has to say about them.

Those 20 open roster spots most likely were saved for veteran WSOP-C dealers and Horseshoe dealers who hadn't decided whether to deal. Just cause there are 20 spots open doesn't mean it's first come first served. The entitlement is staggering.

Then he drops his financial advice vlog on why dividend stocks are viable. He then explains how it's good for taxes as the payments are spread out over years and comes up with a wild scenario where a dividend stock performs equally with a regular stock that doesn't pay dividends. I can almost guarantee you in a real life scenario, the dividend stock won't come close to performing as well as a regular non dividend paying stock will.

Dividend stock owners are the OMC of the financial world. Guaranteed income and low growth potential, like Diesel's poker career.

I'm shocked someone with "uncommon skills" who makes a bunch of videos as a smug pompous know it all while falling flat on his face time after time didn't get a 12 day job for an organization that has tons of dealers to pull from.

He was probably stunned the Patriots didn't come calling after Bill Belichick got fired.

ELD in today's video gives more details on dividend stocks.

WSOP failed to hire ELD then ELD can likely get a job managing a mutual fund that is of course if an NFL team doesn't recruit him as a head coach first.

It just occurred to me.
Rice gained admission to Cornell as a DEI student.

All kidding aside, this is a distinct possibility.

Also: After seeing Rice's WSOP-C application, I'm sure he had a ton of professional help with his application to Cornell.

Both Diesel's cover email and resume were highly unsophisticated. I would not expect that product from someone of his educational background. That's probably an understatement. It's almost as if he self-sabotages. But in the end, this is just another example of the powerclass not getting the rubric.

BTW... Diesel's latest about dividends "diversifying" within a company is wrong in just about every aspect. Fantastic content.

YouTube Comment:Your half ass attempt to get on the roster makes it clear that you did not want the gig. You send ONE email, and then do nothing FOR FIVE WEEKS?!? Don’t call the poker room? Don’t check website? Nothing?? Just one email to one guy you HEARD was doing the hiring. If you WANTED the gig, you would have tried harder.Rice's Repy:

You should've replied:
Yes, I'm a liger. Half lion, half tiger, bred for my skills in magic.

Remember during the vlog series when he was dealing Orleans where he would deal lefty to "practice" and to rest his shoulder but would deal slowly. Then would switch to righty in cash to deal more hands out quickly. Basically he would mess around during tourney downs cause he didn't care to get out hands fast since he would make the same amount no matter how many hands he got out.

Probably should delete those videos if he's trying to get hired by a new company. Lol.

Someone commented on whether him having a Youtube channel would negatively affect his chances at a dealing job.

Diesel replies...

@VegasPokerNomad

I don't think too many people know about it. But I don't see why it'd hurt. It'd mean more entries and a dealer who doesn't EO and knows every game.

More entries? People are going to play a tourney they normally wouldn't cause Diesel is dealing that tourney? Just. Wow. Talk about an inflated ego.

Haha his best selling point is that he actually worked almost every day that Orleans series. Tons of people flake out and quit after a week or two. His reliability is definitely worth something.

But other than that who wants to hire someone who thinks they know everything, they're the best at everything, who will publicly talk about customers and brag about lazy short cuts?

And yes nobody is playing Orelans events because he's dealing there. Of course tell him that and he'll say oh did you ask all 8 billion people on earth?

A failed poker pro, a dejected part time dealer...the wheels of furtuna have spun rapidly downwards for our hero. What new horrors await our el Diesel this week.

ELD in today's video gives more details on dividend stocks.

Once again ELD showcases his rather limited knowledge of investments/retirement planning. His analysis of corporate behavior is particularly amusing considering he was baffled by the basics of how to apply for a job with Caesars.

Don't forget the confusion over those pesky Nevada overtime rules.

I do hope this is your opinion as a doctor, and not just someone random posting on an internet forum.

Does diesel delete negative comments on YouTube ?

Cause over there it's peaches and rainbows compared to here

I don't think they get deleted, he probably just blocks the "haters"
probably the only people that faithfully comment on his videos are looking up at Diesel on the totem pole

There's no way he deletes "negative" comments cause he would lose the ability to smash the haters with his popular Wrong Mean Incorrect comments vlog series where he points out punctuation and grammatical errors while he himself never uses the correct current name of a business (Bally's some may call it Horseshoe). No Diesel, I'm pretty sure almost all 8 billion people call it Horseshoe now.

Damn you for making me watch that 11 minutes of nonsensical jibberish. I kept wondering if he was going to mention an actual difference of tax treatment, and of course he didn't - that dividends are taxed as ordinary income and that paying taxes in a lump after 10 years of a hypothetical holding period gets taxed as longterm capital gains. He also fails to mention the double-taxation nature of dividends. I would think that would really get his goat, considering he thinks everything in his life is unfair.

But the concept of a stock and company performing equally overall when one pays dividends as one that doesn't is just as nonsensical as the other jibberish on the video.

To be fair his income is so low as are the dividends he collects that the taxes are basically zero for him if not literally zero.

Hopefully ELD can post some Vegas Nomadic content soon. Monorail, tier status hacks, etc.

A one way ride on the monorail is $5.50 but $1.00 for locals with NV drivers license. Dont tell him he might wet his pants. Shhhhhh!

But it gets even better. Nevada has a program wherein a homeless person can get a free drivers license:
