Lockerl71 - PRO ot nor to PRO - threshold of making a good living from poker - will I make it

Hi Poker-Sis and -Bros 😀

After being around here for some months, mostly for trades and the 888 thread, I guess its time to share my journey with you (or just talk / type to myself 😉 )

I am 47 (yes oooldd) and live in Salzburg / A with my 16 year old son.

I am playing poker since about 2011, for the first years I just punted off a lot of my good income I had from my own industry business (up to 70 ppl employed)

However, in 2012 my business and my marriage went "broke" and I was also broke.

From that on I took poker more serious, but in no way I was a pro.

In 2018 I ran up a nice bankroll from zero (!!!), starting with 888 freerolls. It peaked at 8k, but I started cashing out 1-2k per month as poker is now a big part of my income (just working part time as a barkeeper).

I am playing mostly on 888, some party and little stars.
I am up around 15k this year, mostly from 888, but also up on party and stars.
I had almost no loosing month this year.

My poker names are Lockerl71 (888 and ps) and Lockerl7199 (party)

My main game are regspeed nlhe mtts, some plo(8) mtts, hyper mtts and mtts sats.
My actual buy in range is 2-30.- and up to 200.- via sats.

My goal is to reach a steady 4k profit per month, that would be enough for a comfortable life for us in Austria.

My biggest problem now is needing to cash out (summer holidays with my son hit a big dent in my roll :/ ), now my roll is about 2k after being down to 350.- after the holidays ( we had way too much fun in the summer 😀 )

As for my interests other than poker, I love to party to techno and house, go to the gym, running and eating healthy / cooking.
My son is also already infected by the techno virus, so aside from poker I guess I will report also some of our party and festival adventures and maybe some workout routines.

So, If someone reads this, questions are highly welcome and complaints are better than no replies 😀
