Do we ever ship over this river bet?
Home game 1/3 - Pretty soft for the most part, people open/call pretty big preflop.
Effective stacks 1kish
Utg limps (huge fish, usually very very passive) - seem him check call check call with gutshot+fd in a multiway pot, river, 3waypot, he checked when first to act with the very concealed nutted straight, apparently he wanted to go for the checkraise.
Hero in CO isoraises to 15 with A6cc. (Hero's image is fairly tight but possibly aggro??? Has only shown the goods in showdown but has been caught twice squeezing then folding to 4bets or folding on flops as original 3bettors)
BB 3bets to 50 - Super aggro/fishy guy.
UTG - limp/cold call the 3bet?????
Hero??? wanted to 4bet but...BB only has like 300total to begin with. We calling? folding?? Hero called.
pot 150
Flop 873r(1 diamond), all checks to hero, hero stabs for 50. BB folds. UTG calls
pot 250
Turn 9d, UTG checks, Hero bets 110, UTG calls fairly quickly
pot 470
River Ad, UTG donks 220. Hero???????????
Is he ever bluffing here???? Does our line look that strong or super weak?
Hero folded. But his line makes no sense. Yes he probably has draw up until the river. He's passive for the most part but he was going for the check/raise when he had the nuts on the river. So what hands does he lead here?
For value, 2pairs, backdoor flushes??, and/or some slowplayed sets/st8s? Then maybe some random bluffs{tx, 6x+pair+st8draw}???
Can we ship on top as bluff?
In retrospect, I probably should've checked flop+turn against such villain. Yea, fold preflop seems good as well, lol.

+1 for playing more passively. I expect utg to have a lot of better aces, aces up and 2p in general because suited connectors look good hur durr 3b pot I'll polarise my range. I don't think something like a 9T is donking River turning his hand into a bluff. Fold as played.
What a train wreck. Obviously fold to the 3b you might even be dominated both ways.
Flop just give up against 2 strong ranges. Fold river he always has a flush given player description.
FWIW, A6s-A9s are the suited aces that should normally fold to a 3-bet.
Preflop just folding always, even with A3s-A5s it's a shit spot. Main reason being the effective SPR on the flop is going to be like 2 with the BB, so weak Ax even suited are just trash hands as they will be dominated when hitting pairs, and you don't hit flushes nearly enough.
As played flop no reason to start betting there imo, your hand is very weak with only a very weak backdoor, not even BDFD.
Same idea on turn. You can check back and credibly rep a pretty good value hand going B-X-B. Your draw is weak with some reverse implieds there.
River never doing anything but folding. He probably backed into a flush.
Grunch:
PRE - Almost certainly folding to the 3B from the BB if UTG folds. No reason for the BB to 3B without a real hand, something that likely crushes our A6s. When UTG calls, it's close, given the 3B size and we'll be IP. Don't hate the call, but don't really love it, and not going to continue past the flop if we don't connect in a pretty big way.
FLOP - Ehhh...one over and a BDSD...just check it back, because getting check-raised here would suck. UTG could have all the sets and top 2P, and he's probably not folding any decent draw. No point in bloating the pot here.
TURN - Okay, sooo...OESD, but to the dumb end, and UTG might find his way here with JT ("seem him check call check call with gutshot+fd in a multiway pot"). Yeah, still not betting our hand.
RIVER - Yuck.
I mean...our flop and turn bets were kinda small, so *MAYBE* we could say we gave V just enough rope to bluff, but what would he be repping here? Seems like a pretty trivial fold.
Definitely would have been better to check back flop and turn. River would have been a reasonable spot to bluff-catch in that scenario.

I'm at Parx Philly almost every Friday night, from around 2pm-4pm to 12am-1am, and if my wife's out of town for the weekend, I'm there on Saturdays too. I'll be the stocky yet devilishly handsome fellow cracking wise with the dealers and shamelessly flirting with the servers.
Come by anytime. Your action is welcome.
