Suitedjustice's Ongoing Mid-life Crisis

I woke up in the middle of choking to death again; though to be accurate, it was towards the end of the process--woke up

Nice review. 😀 For what it's worth, I don't think the tempo increases in "Trodding", but I could be wrong.

Thanks Sheep! You're prolly right, but there is something strange about the beat that throws me off, but in a pleasant way.

On Saturday, I drove down to Norwich to visit with my friends Will and Octavia. For that trip, I like to take the scenic back roads down and back instead of the quicker but more stressful highway route.

The back way mostly follows Route 32, a two lane secondary road that beats a pleasant and fairly straightforward path through 60 miles or so of southern New England's farms and woods.

On this trip, however, there was a bit of adventure at the bottom of a long hill in Franklin, CT. where I found a dozen cars at a standstill on my side of the road in a spot where there are no driveways or turnoffs.

I couldn't see what was halting the cars up front, and we all sat there for more than 2 minutes, with no indication that there had been an accident, and with no one pulling around whatever the obstruction might be.

Finally, I saw a Mercedes SUV pull away from the front of the crowd. It was in our lane, facing the wrong way, and it had been the obstruction. It was now backing up, but not for long. The driver slammed the Mercedes into forward gear and swerved around but very close to the next car in line, just missing it. The Mercedes then swerved back into its own lane, then swerved back again towards the next car, just missing that one. Then it gave the next car after that the same treatment, missing it by inches, then the next car, and from there on every stopped car in the line.

Finally, the driver made it up to my Jeep, and I saw him: an Asian guy in his 40's. grimacing manically around what looked like the stub of an expensive Macanudo cigar as he swerved right for me, only to serve away just before hitting my front fender, then moving on to the next car.

In the moment that he was coming for me, I was terrified. I had seen him just miss everyone in front of me, but that didn't convince me that I wasn't going to be the one he finally hit.

After it was over, I began to appreciate the grim humor in it, the kernel of which was that the man's expression was the same as the one from the old meme that many of us will recognize.

And that recognition has cracked me up periodically over the last two days.

Hi Perrone66. Thanks for reading! I appreciate you!Back before I discovered advantage slots, I stayed away from slots for being -EV leaks. That said, the best -EV games to run your $750 through one time would be certain video poker variants, particularly the ones that return between 98-100%This site will locate the best, least losing machines at your local casino. I would make sure you track the number of hands of VP played. Say you’re playing 50 cent VP at $2.50 a hand stop at 300 hands. You only need run the freeplay through one time. Tracking 300 hands may be difficult. You might be able to track points. Point accumulation varies by casino the site SJ referenced will have player club point accumulation info. Other option maybe every 50 hands or hit cash out, collect the ticket. Keep doing this until you have no more freeplay and you’re unable to play another hand.

How much money did that Asian man in the Mercedes lose at the casino?

Connecticut is a dangerous place. It's running amok with Yankees and Jets fans.
They're bussing them in from New Jersey and Long Island. I've seen them.

They’re eating the dogs
They’re eating the cats
They are taking jobs and giving them to single mothers with no relevant work experience

I need drugs that some of the 2+2 ers are on.

Why would I give the rainbow pony any of my drugs?

It’s kind of fun to buy from the boarded up house. I remember as a teenager my brother buying two nickel bags from a literal hole in the wall in which a hand came out to take money and give your purchase. He tried to convince my brother to get a dime bag. “But you get more weed.” Should’ve of listened to the hand in the wall.

The MGM Springfield machines chime when you're using freeplay, playing the same tone as when they accept bills or tickets; so you'll know when you've run out of freeplay the first hand or spin after it's depleted, as that will be chimeless. If you want to super-nit it and avoid playing even one non-free hand, you can check your freeplay balance on a separate menu on the machine.

It crossed my mind that he was coming back from Foxwoods or Mohegan, as we were within 20 miles of either location. It's also possible that he could have been suffering from an

I posted a crudely delineated map a few years back that showed the north and east parts of the state as Red Sox/Patriots fans and the south and west parts as Yankees/Giants fans, with a smattering of Mets and Jets in that part as well. The middle fringe of the state holds some hybrid freaks who align with Yankees/Patriots or Red Sox/Giants.

March is the month where I will need to make a living wage playing at the casino, or I will not be able to pay my rent at the end of the month. My reserves are gone, so this is it.

I will be staying dry this March; this will be the record 15th month, beating my prior streak of 14. In early April I will be attending my nephew's wedding, and that will be an interesting spot, as I have never once endured a big family gathering while sober. And by never, I mean that that accounting goes back to when I was 7 years old, and the ring-bearer at the wedding of a family friend.

Not me, sadly. I would have been better off if they'd dressed me as Frodo; instead they put me in a white leisure suit with an oversized powder blue bow tie and sharp wide lapels, and I walked up the aisle with prominent mud and grass stains on both knees of those white pants after playing around somewhere that I shouldn't have been.

Even at that age, I snuck a couple of drinks off the tables out of pure boredom, and I've followed that pattern at every big family shindig since then, only with less sneaking as time went on.

Thus, I have another inflection point coming up with that wedding.

Given my finances, I've had to borrow a suit from my brother, as the wedding asks for formal dress, and I don't have five hundo to drop at Men's Warehouse, and borrowing is easier than scouring the Salvation Army and other thrift stores.

The pants on the suit are tight on me, so I've started a modest exercise program. Some pushups and crunches in the morning, combined with the 2.5 to 3 miles (4-5 Km) I walk when I check the slots, should cover it, if I can keep up the routine over the course of the month.

Carte blanche extended indefinitely. We're all hanging out here and having fun. This isn't a sermon.

Hi. Sweet blog m8. Slightly jealous of the action ITT (I am blogging too), but maybe I just need to write better.

Hi Tuma,

I appreciate you stopping by with kind words! I enjoy checking in on your blog, and I'm far from the only one. You've picked up a lot of views in a relatively short amount of time, so keep doing what you're doing.

Thank you, brother. I'll need to be strong before I stay strong.

I started the 12 Monkeys TV series, and I'm hooked on it after 1 1/2 episodes. I've always been a sucker for time travel stories, and I enjoyed the 12 Monkeys movie, which was Terry Gilliam's penultimate good film before 1998's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas became his last, after which his movies sadly went south and stayed there.

To be fair, I haven't yet seen his latest, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, but he was on a streak of four bad movies before that, so I'm not holding out much hope.

Later tonight, I intend to hit the casino for a slot run, and possibly for a short poker session, if I find a juicy table.
