Detecting Bots: Uncovering Insights from GGPoker Data Analysis

I have examined cash games on GGPoker over th
bots are illegal, obviously
Are they, really? Are bots illegal in gray markets (rest of world)? These markets are unregulated, therefore the poker sites offering business there have no incentive to play fair. They don’t have to answer to local law if they screw over the customer in a gray market. So I doubt your statement.

Bots are not illegal. There are no internet poker laws so it's impossible. Every sites (atleast I hope so) tos states you can't use bots ai etc to play so they are not allowed. Some sites like ipoker acr doesn't give a poop though.
i was assuming that with "illegal" he meant "not allowed"
just like he with "gray market" he means "grey market"
in every site tos there is something against botting and other type of cheating, if they do enough to catch those players is very much the question. But that doesnt make botting allowed
Why are bots not illegal? and why are poker sites allowing this to happen? No wonder poker halls are being built, at an exponential rate across Europe! see my post recently.
They generate rake, start and keep games running, and expand the player pool. What's not to like if you are a poker site running in a grey market? Online poker players can continue to complain about it, but at this point it is never going away and will only expand as operators perfect their business model.

yet sites make deals with botfarm... funny how that works. Shady mfs!
yes, EVERY site makes deals with botfarms, of course. Solid evidence too btw
GG Poker security doesn't seem to care much about bots! Checked just out of interest on BlueTableRatings the leaderboards for NL2 and NL5 6max.....there are some players which seem to be able to not sleep at all. If behaviour like that doesn't trigger the security, safe to say that at best they don't care.

the player ''back2bak!" (changed SN from giorgos_bak recently) has played 12-15 hour days EVERY single day since january 2025 and wins or gets 2nd in the plo 1/2 leaderboard every day. he never takes a day off, never takes a break once he starts playing, for almost 300 days straight now
when I posted this on GGpoker reddit, a few players responded saying they also reported this player - a GGpoker mod then posted that it's common for people to grind leaderboards on GG and that this wasn't suspicious. My account was subsequently banned from posting in GGpoker after this lol.
it seems very obvious GGpoker is turning a blind eye towards cheating on their cash games, it is worrying what other cheating they are ignoring and missing such as players colluding at the same table, especially when no cash game player ever receives any type of refund for cheating despite millions of hands played, even ignition will send occasional refunds for catching cheaters lol..
Of course there’s cheating on GG. They have always relied heavily on the image they portray that they have the safest online poker platform when it comes to bots and collusion. But what are they actually doing about it? The only thing I can see from a quick Google search is that they banned some accounts using RTA in WSOP events from last year.
GG is no better than any other site in this regard, they all use the same model "Don't give a **** until it hurts their income" and one way to wake them up is form a group with proper evidence of the offences and send it to them with a threat to stop playing and crucially backing that threat up if they don't do something about it.
Constantly rabbiting about it with the notion of harming their rep means nothing, since when were poker sites ever considered great in societal terms. Unless they realise the prospect of business lost the status quo will remain.

Honestly, this could still be a very determined human, but on the page where I checked on microstakes (they only give free data for NL2 and 5) at what time a player was playing in the last 7 days, I found instantly a few players playing almost 24/7, which no human can and will achieve. Reported them to GG, but the simple fact, that it didn't raise suspicion at their game-integrity-department tells you the whole story! They just don't care.

even in supernova elite grind days players would take at least 1 day off during the year with such huge volume
this is not 1 human, either shared account in grindhouse or bot
Why would anyone play on GG when it's so obvious they allow cheating all over the place?
