Officially, none. The idea the CFOs or whatever are giving a leg up to poker players is pretty laughable (source: I was a VP at a finance co. )
Unofficially, if you are a winning poker player at stakes that matter over a sample size that matters and have a fiancé degree you will easily outpace everyone in the office at whatever you’re tasked with.

Went to the used golf shop last week to try p790 irons vs mine (Cleveland cg4 tour)…..ended up basically getting a free mini-fitting……he had me take a few cuts with my 8-iron, looked at the numbers and said things looked good…..he’d stick with what I had…..glad to save the $$$, but will likely go back July-August after many rounds and reevaluate. He suggested I may like the p770s…..apparently I strike the ball well.

the guy at the golf shop can look at your numbers and tell you how much you should be able to get out of the club. its basically a pretty simple math equation starting with clubhead speed.

it was being held at my friends home game venue, no rake, free 20 yr old scotch. middle of the day, it was actually pretty fun time, but likely unwatchable, prob better as a podcast. lol. one time deal for me, just to help out and have some fun.

no, i use the full "wood". i saw an analysis by dechambeau where he showed that a 7 wood or 5 wood is far better for doing what you are trying to accomplish than its equivalent hybrid, the "wood" version will have higher launch and better ball speed and allows you to hit better out of the rough as well because you can hit with more of a descending blow catching ball first and still get higher launch.

In my case it's a lack of skill, but I can't hit woods from rough. I need them on a perfect lie or teed up, but I can hit out of the rough with irons or hybrids. Sounds like my swing needs more a descending blow with the woods. I'll probably lose a box of balls trying.
