It’s a little early, but I’m excited for this trip. It’s been too long.
My husband is attending the MJBizCon conference (
Worked until 1:30, then showered and headed out. No time for a walk, so made the best of the walk over. Had a terrible sandwich from the shop downstairs that me husband brought me.
Good cocktail servers today and running better so far. Played a hand poorly earlier, but started thinking and playing better.
Made a good call against a reg I have played against a lot, then made a good bluff against him. He actually left after that one, although I didn't show. It's still early.

I check Poker Atlas every day when I head out to see where PLO is being played. They haven't had any PLO games going, and once I'm at Aria, I don't feel like spending what would amount to 45 minutes getting to a new venue. I guess I could Uber, but I'd still probably have to wait on line, etc. Just not worth it.
Hubby had a good night. Turns out we are just about even for the trip 😉 I'm down ~$175 in poker, but I hope to turn that around on this last day! Off to Aria for the $800 PLO Mystery Bounty soon.

Unfortunately, we did not kill it; it killed us [emoji22] Husband went out of tourney early with AA as AA. He flopped two pair and the other guy got a flush.
I hung on for a while, but couldn't build a stack. Made a mistake and lost a few chips, then geat KKQT on button. Short stack raises (he did it a lot), I 3bet, and the big blind four bets. This guy has been a lockbox. He has a huge stack. He is a very good player, but also sucked out on a few players. Of course I'm never folding, and he has AA. I am out.
Then we both proceeded to get crushed in the live game. AA losing to KK, to pair losing to a two outer Ace on the river. You guys know the deal. We still had a blast. Heading to the airport soon. Cannot wait to see the puppies!

PSA: If you are TSA pre and have Clear, skip Clear if there is a line. It's totally useless at this airport. This is the second time the TSA line has gone twice as fast as Clear. And they have one person taking boarding passes in the Clear line for TSA and regular people. Completely stupid.

Yeah, it seems as if everybody has TSA precheck now days, so it's effectively the old "regular" security line.
I've never minded getting to the airport early though. Prefer low-stress travel vs trying to hustle. I'll just sit in the club and get some food/drinks until boarding time.

As a non-US poker player I’m used to having a really bad time when entering the US (even in Vegas), so I kind of have myself conditioned for this .. anything that’s not totally horrible is fine ;-)))

Picked them up from my MIL's house around midnight. They were very happy to see us. This is hanging out Saturday while we vegged and watched Ted Lasso (again).
