Prairiebreeze’s Cannonball (Hit and) Run III – December 1-5, 2024

So yeah… PLO.

Bought in for 400, my first hand I made a correct flop fold with red aces Jack-Ten of clubs on a T63 2 spade board only to see the case ace hit the river which would have maybe 4x’ed my stack.

I eventually get it in with middle set of sixes against a super shorty and a 3rd player with 7766 on Q63 and river quads.

Meanwhile my buddy at the same table has spun 500 into I think about 2500 playing every hand. And getting every card he needs. Imagine that I had to talk him into coming to Aria. We’re both in a must move gave so he gets moved into a game with Mr. Javanewt and I immediately get moved to Mrs. Javanewt’s direct left. Awesome people, super nice and lovely to chat with. Went completely card dead at that table and after about an hour longer we both quit our games.

In 400, out for roughly this.

Buddy is real tired now but I convince him to play some craps at Horseshoe so he can just peace out whenever he’s good. We cruise through Bellagio and cash in our MNF bets along the way. Even for me, +800 for him. First couple of shooters are bad, I did ok and got him back close to even and I was up small when I seven out and he calls it a night.

I putz around in a couple of slots at Flamingo and get completely iced, but an end of day count says we are up about a grand right now.

Today was GOOD. 3/3 in poker sessions, broke even on sports bets and won at craps.

Seeing how I’m a PLO expert now, let’s go to Wynn and play a WPT $600 LIMIT O8 event!

There aren’t many cowboys yet. But there are Amazon tech bros EVERYWHERE. I’m guessing the event is at Venetian for the number of bros wearing t shirts under blazers around the joint. Is that dress code for these dudes?
