Wait when did I say it was illegal? I just said what he is proposing doing? Then you acted like he was just shifting federal funds which is not what he said, he said he wants to remove accreditation which is a whole separate matter from funds allocation. Are you ok dude?

That’s not a matter for the federal government just local jurisdiction. I don’t see how they could be considered illegal across the board since they didn’t all follow the same character. And for the most part those decisions should be handled on the local level pursuant to local laws so Trump should have nothing to do with it.
I suspect he would have made it worse just like he did with BLM which was a total and complete failure thanks to his meddling.

accreditation is about federal funds: with no accreditation you don't get any federal research grant money, nor federal loan guarantees to students to pay your tuition.
you can still exist as a university with no accreditation, you just don't get free federal money.

This is off-topic a bit, but it's too bad Robert McNamara didn't understand that.
They should have known that many thousands would die and their cities would get flattened if they took Israelis hostage. I feel these people don't easily learn their lesson and because of this people continue to die. It will get worse as we get to the end of this conflict because these homicidal maniacs will get desperate and put more of their people into harms way. I would recommend to the Gazan people to stop with the "Martyr" nonsense. It's not better to die. It's not a good thing to sacrifice your children's future just because of your desire for revenge. No way Trump would allow individuals to take over a University. No way he would allow Arabs(Or people pretending to be Arabs) to tell Jews where they could or could not go. That was a national disgrace. I think that was a big reason people voted Trump back in. Americans are sick of seeing their country taken over by anti American entities. I think local authorities will feel empowered to deal with this nonsense in the future under the backing of Trump.

It does seem they miscalculated this time. They probably also expected that Israel would retaliate with one hand tied behind their back like they have been required to do in the past. They were correct that the anti sematic world would once again fall for the terrorist propaganda and pressure Israel to back off. This time Israel said "CARE" to the outside world threats.

So you think the federal government in education being dismantle is a good thing since everything should be done through state law but now that its something you might care its ok to see the federal being strong to be involve in education that shouldnt concern it ?
